The seller adds that all the repair work has been documented and photos of the repair process are provided in the gallery.

I bought an 03 triple black here. My car has a clean car fax and a lot of work has been done to it. I’ll sell the black one and drive this one if the price is good.

@Blubusdrvr thank you on the compliment. At Weekend Rides we have repaired many crashed 911 on our Celette jigs and repainted hundreds of 911 over the last 40 years. We are no strangers to fixing Porsches. The damage was mostly roof center section on this turbo and we replaced one door and a fender. We have replaced many center sections it’s easy on a 996/997 to weld it in place where the trim strips go. The glass out full repaint by our master painter Connor Norton needs no apologies! He’s one of the best in addition to being a detail oriented bodyman, we are quite proud of how he loves the final results of his efforts on our Porsches.

Guys I am yea fkk hbyoddy. I uploaded a couple videos earlier today to both pcar and YouTube. Unless it’s my glitch one shows a gated Ferrari! It’s not a gated Italian :)
@P911_996_928 I love Pccb. I Have them on my personal gt3rs and my daily is a cayenne turbo S. You dont need 100k to buy this one. but hey bid high and often:)
New member as I am interested in this 996TT. FWIW, I called Hagerty this morning about the rebuilt title. Hagerty said they would insure the vehicle subject to review of the photos. Secondly, one would not be able to place a replacement limit of, say, $100,000, due to the car's history.
Would I be foolish to swap out the ceramic brakes for a less expensive-to-replace alternative?

We tried twice to get the dme read out for those who asked. Twice from two different shops we know locally. Anthony at Lakeview auto and also Joe Barnick, Both use autel. Neither guys could get the number of ignitions. We got as far as dme and other choices both times but as of yesterday the autel which we have used before, always doing dme readouts, and never had any issue with just isn’t getting deeper into the dme. It’s unlikely today being last day of listing we can find another one with a Durametric locally to do it.
@NineNine6or7 We did not feel it needed to be put on any bench as its gaps were all fine. The roof was more cosmetic but we did as you can see change a piece of the right roof support rail. It drives fine had a recent alignment when we put the new tires on. I will try to get a video driving but can’t promise it this late in auction as I am traveling today on biz, It’s unlikely to happen within the auction time ending.
Thanks for following up on that. Next question, were measurements taken of the unibody frame prior to the rebuild for confirmation that it was within spec, or was it obvious to you based on your experience that the frame did not suffer damage in the accident? Any chance you could upload a video of it driving (from outside, and inside, if possible). Thanks again
@Paddle911 thank you. As car guys know you can’t drive the title brand but when you pull up driving this who would know it had a repsir? And frankly who cares. The next buyer has a fat portfolio of documentation of its repair which we are humbled by everyone’s positive comments on the repairs we performed. Drive it like you don’t give a….
It is going to be fun to see where the auction hammer drops on this one! Quite the backstory, but if the work was done well (and I have no reason to believe it wasn't), this could be a great driver's car where the winner doesn't have to worry about putting miles on it and just enjoys the thrills. Wish it were located closer in order to be able to look it over in-person. Good luck with the auction!
To those who asked pcar rewrote my ad. I did not notice they left this out, but The dash has typical 996 leather shrinkage and has lifting by windshield. More toward passenger side by windshield.
@NineNine6or7 I rest read as pcar seems to have removed my description of the dash. I had put in the listing it has leather disease and shrinkage.
I apologize for them removing that part and rewriting my ad because they left it out.
@Texanpcarman rear is original from donor. Front I will need to check on later today when I am near the turbo.
@NineNine6or7 in ad i h thought I disclosed it? Anyway yes typical turbo leather dash has shrinkage disease it’s lifting a bit and is dry by windshield area

Is the replacement glass Porsche glass?
The photo of the dashboard shows what might just be cloud reflections or maybe peeling/lifting over on the passenger side nearing the windshield. Could you confirm the condition of the dashboard please?

@jmorin I didn’t see they missed it. Same as saying it has yellow calipers. They are factory PCCB not just regular ones painted yellow. Thank you for sharing
@993tts30 Thanks, and yes I understand it's a branded title. My question was to @Pcarmarket, and I see they have now changed the status from Clean to Rebuilt.
Seal Gray with the full leather sports Seats and Ceramic Brakes, make it an extremely nice spec. Best color combo for sure. Incredibly Sharp car!
@Thranfeld yes in seal gray with black and these rims it just looks dam good!
@jmorin it’s in listing Pennsylvania title is branded as R for reconstructed. It has gone through pa enhanced salvage indirection as well as normal pa inspection about a year ago. Note pa state indirection sticker on windshield is current.
Nice looking turbo. Great color and options.
@Pcar How is the Title Status "Clean?"
Bid in the amount of $5,000
@oldsouth I will try to get a DMV report done. We didn’t do that however, I will upload a photograph of it in the coming days.
@oldsouth I do not know any history of how the accident occurred. It was purchased from the insured insurance company. In my opinion. It was never tracked, but that’s just my opinion. Normally trackcars have a harder life as you know. the photos clearly show new tires are on it so I don’t know how to answer your question regarding.
@seller Nice work and nice presentation.
So was it flipped on a track or what? DME report? Hankook tires??!
