    @Serivera I believe you…

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Buckeyes20 I use the car locally in Miami, just for few errands and to visit my sons. never out more than 40 miles per week . Is not an everyday car, only for the pleasure of driving a Porsche

  • Buckeyes20 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Serivera I'm always looking at the miles per year it was driven rather than total mileage. For a car that's almost 20 years old with 100k miles, we're talking a little over 5k miles per year, not much.

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Lyonsfin The specialist who check few years ago said I never will have a IMS problem

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Buckeyes20 If you realize the years of car use , you will see that the mileage is important but for me the German cars are made for 300K+ miles of life...

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Buckeyes20 The transmission oil and brake services were done by my specialist mechanic

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Buckeyes20 I have some experience in cars and I think the IMS is a lubrication problem, most of the times. My car has synthetic oil changed every six months regardless of the miles.

  • Buckeyes20 2 years, 9 monthsago

@GT3-guy Maybe this is too long of a discussion for a comment section, but the way I see it the higher mileage cars are probably less likely to fail compared to other comparable examples with lower mileage. Maybe mileage does not matter?

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@GT3-guy My car has no problem with IMS was inspected by specialist before .

  • Buckeyes20 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Serivera Thank you for your answers. Sorry to hear you won't be able to enjoy it anymore. Has there been any service done on the automatic transmission, such as replacing the transmission fluid or filter?

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Buckeyes20 I have the original owner's manual and "101 projects for your Porsche 911".
Most of the services are done by myself and I have other done in the shop
I also include the original rear lights and other small spare OEM parts I have for
regular maintenance. I am selling the car only because health problems.

  • GT3-guy 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Serivera a lot of the time on automatic cars the IMS gets overlooked because it doesn’t need a clutch…’with that mileage I’d absolutely have it done… that’s just me

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Lyonsfin @As far as I know, IMS is the original, about 3 years ago I get the car checked for any problem
with a expert in porsche and he told me that the car will have no problem with the IMS.
I always care of frequent synthetic oil changes in order to avoid any problems.

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Buckeyes20 I don't have many service records, all services were done in my house with original or Oem parts .

  • Lyonsfin (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

    IMS original or replaced?

  • Serivera (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

The owne's manual and several porsche repair books are included, also the original rear lights
I can't drive the car anymore

  • Buckeyes20 2 years, 9 monthsago

The wheels are a very nice touch and the lapis blue looks great in the FL sun. Will the owner's manual or any service records be included with the sale? Thanks.
