@sportscarguy3 - I would see no reason for it to not pass. It easily passed AZ smog this year.
Will the car pass Ca smog as is currently ?

Also, having recently purchased a 2003 996 twinTurbo, my first 996 Porsche, it is an impressive car to both look at and drive
While my 996 has had some nice modifications certainly will be keeping an eye on this little gem

@DFlinn21 - thanks for the question. I never tracked the car and I understand it never was. The dealer owner I purchased the car from knew the previous owner and the car came out of a Porsche collection, never tracked to previous knowledge. I understand that seems a bit anecdotal, but I had the car thoroughly inspected at my purchase and I was told by the mechanic that it looked as if the car has been extremely well cared for with none of the things he would see on a car driven in a hard manner. I do not know the generation of exhaust but I believe it has been with the car for quite some time. The inspection was a basic multi-point inspection that occurred with the fresh service totaling $500. Items checked and cleared including tires, brakes, pollen filter (new), fuel cap, drive belt, brake fluid, air filter (new), coolant, lights, suspension. Has fresh oil and filter, fully serviced. Thanks!

Great looking car! Any idea of the track history? Yourself or past owners. Do you happen to know the generation fabspeed exhaust? Any documentation on the recent inspection and what was checked?

@billapex - Good morning! Yes, I would be happy to meet you at a location in North Scottsdale. If you are absolutely down for that, I can contact you through Pcarmarket customer service. Would you like to arrange a day and time? Let me know and I will work on contacting you directly. Just let me know. Thanks!
Beauty of a Turbo! I'm in Cave Creek--maybe I can stop by and check it out. I had a 2001 Turbo in Arctic Silver with Boxster red interior with 55k miles. I sold it about five years ago for a price that I now regret.
@skywalker27612 - thanks for the feedback!
Beautiful 996! Will do well.
@skywalker27612 - Thanks for your question. Correct, this was a period correct/applied aftermarket fix for the complex and faulty hydraulic automatic wing/spoiler. It has fixed supports so it is always in the “up” position. The wing is slightly different in shape but does not look out of place in my opinion, giving it a slight more aggressive look. Thanks !
Bid in the amount of $9,996
Fixed spoiler. Non-functional in an up position?
@luis.seneriz - thanks so much for the comments! The car is fabulous! I will regret this sale…
Guys this is the car to have. 2003 is the last year where the engine block has a 964 part number and the block is stamped made
In Germany ??, after 03, many other places like Slovakia, Tunisia, etc. The transmission in the 03 is the improved G50, the 01-02 cars tend to
Develop a jump out of second gear. This car is the twin to mine, I bought it here in April. My wheels are powder coated black. This is a niece car.
@HOTRODSTEVE7 thanks for your transparency, the car looks great!
@csplendoria - thanks for the question. The coolant lines are all stock and original including the elbows. Have had zero issues with this but I do understand this is a common upgrade. Again, appreciate the question.
Hi Steve, sharp car and good luck with the auction! I'll get it out of the way now since we all know it's coming: are the lines pinned or welded and are the coolant elbows upgraded from stock (sharkwerks or the like?)
Hello Porsche aficionados! Steve here, and I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m am selling this amazing 996 Turbo, reluctantly. It is truly a beautiful car with brutal power as you all know. It turns heads at PCA events, looks and drives incredibly modern, yet provides that raw, connected driving experience. Please, should you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me. Knowledge is important in a purchase like this. Thank you for the consideration! Steve
