Finished in Guards Red over Brown Natural Leather upholstery, this 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission and the optional X50 Powerkit paired with its twin-turbocharged Mezger 3.6-liter flat-six engine. At an original sticker price of over $138k, it also came factory-equipped with optional supple leather front and rear seats, stainless-steel tailpipes, aluminum instrument dials, and Natural Brown floor mats. Showing approximately 21k miles on the odometer, this X50-equipped Turbo Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red and features wide Turbo-specific bodywork with side air intakes. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, heated power mirrors, a front spoiler, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, a speed-activated rear spoiler, optional stainless-steel quad exhaust tips, red brake calipers, and 18” 911 Turbo wheels. Four new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were installed in April 2023. The seller notes the driver’s quarter panel was refinished, and the CARAFX report shows minor damage to that area in 2018. The exterior is said to be in very good overall condition with clear paint protection film applied over the front bumper and forward portions of the hood and fenders. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features premium Brown Natural Leather upholstery with matching carpets, floor mats, optional supple leather seats, and an Alcantara headliner. Accessories include power-adjustable seats with driver memory, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, optional aluminum instrument dials, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, an onboard computer, a Bose sound system, and a Porsche CDR23 stereo.
This car is optioned with the X50 Turbo Powerkit, which adds larger K24 turbochargers and intercoolers, ECU tuning, and a revised exhaust to the 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine for an output of 450 HP and 457 lb-ft of torque. A major service was completed in May 2021, including new cam housing gaskets, ignition coils, a new low-tone horn, cabin air filter, and an oil change. A Pennsylvania state inspection was passed in April 2025, and the seller states a fresh oil and filter service will be performed for the next owner.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a tire inflator, and a clean title (lien).
The seller would like you to know: “This unusually spec'd, 996 Turbo X50 is a time capsule in every way. From the exterior, through the interior, the car represents as nicely as any 996 we have come across, and we have been very lucky to have some extremely nice examples pass through our doors. From a driving perspective, the car operates as intended. The clutch is easy to press, and the transmission goes through all gears as smoothly as it did when new.”

@Npbears Wow! That’s very low. Was it a manual. Did you see the one we sold recently with over 30k miles? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

@Poodie Thank you! It really is a remarkable example
@Ravenna45 sticky buttons is a 997 problem, in my experience. 996 buttons are hard plastic.
@monsoon725 The first indicated the need to repair 1 wheel. It occurred in 2003.That is the info we have. The other was in 2018 and the CF does not have a description on the CF. However, we have indicated that.the driver quarter was repainted. There is no indication of the rear bumper being repainted.
No sticky buttons. Yes there is clear film as noted in the description. There was no accident listed. A damage report and accident are not the same and are recorded differently by Carfax. An example would be if you scratch your car accidentally in the garage and have it repaired by your insurance company / that is a damage report, not an accident. An accident involves a collision and usually involves a police report. Damage being reported to Carfax is fairly recent over the last several years.
That is all the info we have with that said we are happy to allow personal inspections or Ppi’s to be completed. Thank you.
What a GORGEOUS car.
Forgot to ask if any switches or buttons have turned sticky?
Thank you for the walk-around, quite helpful. I'm curious if the rear bumper was off and repainted along with the driver's 1/4 panel. Do we know if the driver's rear wheel was damaged or replaced after the accident? Are there any records available from the body shop when the work was done? Is there paint protection on the front of the car? What do we know about the first incident with wheel damage?
Do you know what the extent of the damage was listed on carfax? Seems like there were two incidents if I recall.
Here is some info on recent service history. The service in 2021 was completed during the first time we had the car in 2021.

Hello, thank you for taking a look at this incredible, 6-speed manual, 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo X50 Coupe!
This is the 2nd time we have been lucky enough to have the car with us. The first time was in 2021 when we sold it to a local car enthusiast who has since added a 997S and a 997 Turbo to his growing collection of P Cars. We are very excited to have it with us once again. We will be here to answer questions throughout the auction, and we are happy to show the car to anyone who would like to come and view it in our showroom. Thank you and good luck to all who participate in the auction.
