Blurring the boundary between road and race car, the GT2 was intended to be Porsche’s ultimate 911 supercar, equipped with a twin-turbocharged Mezger engine sending over 450 HP to the rear wheels. This 2003 example comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black leather interior with the optional Aluminum/Chrome Package and custom carbon fiber trim pieces. Acquired by the current owner in 2009 and registered in the state of California ever since, this GT2 is now being offered for auction with approximately 10k miles showing on the odometer.
The GT2’s bodywork is based on the 911 Turbo and includes a unique front fascia with additional air intakes as well as a large rear wing to promote downforce. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and has been modified with carbon fiber nose intake vents and mirror caps. Yellow-painted calipers are included with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), equipped as standard on the GT2. It rides on factory 18” Turbo Look II monobloc wheels with “GT2” logo center caps and new Michelin tires (2022). The seller notes the car has been driven approximately 4k miles during their ownership and was never subjected to the rain or racetrack. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather interior includes exclusive aluminum-look instrument dials as part of the optional Aluminum/Chrome Package. Extensive carbon fiber trim pieces have been added including the center console, armrest, door handles, instrument surround, ignition lock surround, and air vents. A three-spoke carbon fiber steering wheel was also added along with a matching gear knob and handbrake lever. Other accessories include stainless pedal covers, Speed Yellow seatbelts, and custom black carpet floormats with yellow details.
Producing as much as 456 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine drives the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller notes an aftermarket Tubi exhaust system has been installed and the car has been maintained with annual oil services during their ownership. The original exhaust is said to accompany the sale.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, factory muffler, and a clean title.

@Nonissan I changed the oil & filter once every 1- 2 years since the car was driven very little, only about 1800 miles in the last 11 years. Mostly driven around my neighborhood and get smog. I am sure Porsche dealers will want to do a major service.

I test drove a ruf gt2, apparently it was one of two in the US. Compared to my modified 03 turbo the clutch is different, the front end is lighter, the brakes are better. My car currently has 525 hp and I’ll be going to 650 with a more aggressive tune. I do drive my car frequently and for multiple use purposes and the extra power , I believe based on my driving experiences with my car the awd set up and the lighter clutch are a lot more livable on a day by day basis. IMHO a gt2 is just set up for track usage. I was also influenced by the guys at rennlist who told me with what you got , k24 hybrids, gt2 intercoolers and all the other performance parts my car would be a lot faster than a gt2 at a fraction of the cost and would be drivable on a daily basis if I wanted to use it as such. This is a beautiful rare car. GLWTS
Is there any service history to go along with the car? When was the last service and what was performed? What needs to be addressed in the near future?
What a stunning machine. An immediate classic and an investment that will likely stand the test of time. Good luck to both the seller and whoever becomes the lucky new owner.

@signalMTB Range 2 is still not danger zone, unfortunately Range 1 or 2s are not decisive data for any clear conclusion. 997+ has Range 1,2,3,4,5,6 which tells you rangers up to >9,000 rpm
The mezger is one of the best engines to ever go in a sports car

@Cytoboy It means that someone spiritingly drove it about 1 hour ago in engine run time (likely test drive / dealer test drive). Range 1 is just over rev limit, and Range 2 is the danger zone. Based on the rev limit for this car, looks like it spent in total life of the car about 18 seconds in range 1, and about a half-second in range 2 ... with both ranges recently occurring.
Bid in the amount of $80,000
Thank you, MotorsportsR for the additional images and data. May I ask for someone in the forum more knowledgeable than I comment on the DME report? Are range 2 events concerning in the least? Your comments are much appreciated :)
wonderful cars and had a pleasure to owned one . A land missile. Make sure to hoard a few front lips as they get damaged easily.
