Now available for auction is this 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera Aerokit Cup “GT3” tribute finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a black standard leather interior. Under previous ownership, this Carrera underwent a GT3 styling transformation with genuine OEM parts including 18” wheels, a rear seat delete, and GT3-logo interior details. Bilstein shocks and H&R struts offer a lowered stance and improved handling while the more recent clutch replacement and IMS bearing upgraded provide peace of mind to the next owner. Retaining its factory GT3-style Aerokit and 6-speed manual gearbox, this tribute is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Nevada with approximately 83k miles showing on the odometer.
The Seal Grey Metallic finish on this example is said to be in good condition overall aside from some road-going chips on the lower rocker panels and front bumper. Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX. Having been equipped with the Aerokit Cup from the factory, this Carrera was the perfect basis for a GT3 styling conversion. Updates to the exterior include OEM GT3 badging and 18” GT3 wheels that are currently dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires with date codes from 2017/2018.
Inside, the black standard leather interior has been modified with a rear seat and center console delete as well as OEM GT3-logo components including the door sills, handbrake lever, and central tachometer. Other modifications include a Rennline footrest, stainless steel pedals, and an Alpine Bluetooth head unit. The cabin is described to be in excellent condition except for some minor imperfections on the driver’s side door sill as well as a small mark on the passenger seat cushion and two small holes in the rear carpet which were left behind from the rear seat delete. The window regulators were recently replaced, and all gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional.
This second-generation 996 carries a 3.6 L flat-six engine rated at 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission which allows for a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds. Upgraded Bilstein shocks and H&R springs have been installed and the clutch is said to have been replaced in the last 5k miles along with an LN Engineering IMS bearing upgrade. The brake pads and rotors were also replaced within the last year in addition to an oil service, and this 996 is said to be in excellent driving condition with a collection of service records accompanying the sale.
This sale will include a set of keys, owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean title. With its GT3-styling and desirable factory specifications, this 996 Carrera is not to be overlooked.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be live on YouTube at my channel @bidnerds to watch this auction close. Open another screen and hang out with us and watch the hammer hit the sound block. Going live in 5 minutes.
@ProducerJohn I can certainly attest to how much it costs to make your car look and perform like a GT3. I've got 3 times your current bid amount in my 996. It looks like a lot of money was spent on this car getting the look just right. Hope it does well.
@URS6 I support your plan either way!
@ProducerJohn Great looking car. I need to figure out a way to merge it with my 996 that still looks stock, but has GT3 brakes, suspension, seats, roll bar and track-built engine. GLWA!
OK Guys, I have lowered the reserve. This car will sell today!!!!
I have had the pleasure of driving this car and it drives fantastic. Who ever gets it will be very happy. Good Luck!
@tjsulli1 Thanks for the kind words and no, there was not any paint or bodywork required.
First of all, beautiful car!
Secondly, regarding the service record for the mishap with the parking stop. It looks like the oil pan and rear brace were replaced. Was there any paint/body that also went with this repair?
Thanks!

Hi. I know what it says in the write up but just want to clarify, this was born as a factory aero kit 996, the aero wasn’t added afterwards correct?
Deleting the rear seats and the GT wheels definitely a nice move. Car looks killer. GLWTA
