This 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Metropol Blue top over a matching full leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six. Optioned with Porsche Stability Management, aluminum instrument dials, the Power Seat Package, supple leather seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Xenon Headlamp Package, 18” Sport Classic wheels, and more, this 996 commanded an original sticker price of over $94k. Garage-stored and strictly used for summer driving by its seller, a PCA member, this example is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey with approximately 79k miles on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Metropol Blue convertible soft top. Standard equipment includes integrated front fog lights, a rear speed-activated rear spoiler, rear bumperettes, and dual exhaust outlets. Optional features include the Xenon Headlamp Package and 18” Sport Classic wheels with colored Porsche center crests & Continental Extreme Contact tires from 2018. The seller notes some signs of road wear and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Metropol Blue full leather upholstery featuring optional supple leather seats, the Power Seat Package, heated front seats, left-seat lumbar support, and Porsche-crested headrests. Additional options include aluminum instrument dials, a Porsche wind stop, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. The seller notes very slight signs of wear.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is handled by fixed four-piston brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear. The seller states that an IMS bearing replacement was carried out and a host of service documentation will accompany the sale. The CARFAX report shows a total of 26 service history entries dating back to July 2003.
This sale will include a clean title, a toolkit, a spare tire, and an air pump.
The seller would like you to know: “Overall a very nice driver-quality Porsche 996 Cab. The car came from the factory with PSM, Porsche Crest embossed in the headrests, and is equipped with a Porsche Centre Bournemouth sports exhaust system. Everything works as it should, the service is up to date and it drives fantastic. Factory books and records are all available and, as shown in the gallery, the factory hard top will come with the car as well. A truly beloved car, which was kept in a garage and on a trickle charger.”

@BR356 The car overall is in very nice condition including the underside. When shooting the car I did not know how to shoot underside photos. That being said I have been underneath the car multiple times and the car has been on mechanical lifts throughout its life as you can see from the extensive service records. I have never seen noticeable rust on the underside and I have never had any mechanic point out anything of issue. I would also like to note that the car has been stored in doors and garage kept from the outside elements.
I like the car....kudos for keeping it in what appears to be very nice condition. Without pics of the undercarriage which would vindicate the care you have taken and not verify NY winter road corrosion, I think you may have hurt your outcome some.
@Tairean I did not take any detailed pictures underneath, but I do have one photo that has just been uploaded to the gallery.
Hi -- Great presentation! Is there any rusting underneath the car. Any pictures of underneath? Thanks very much
@WH911 Overall the Convertible top condition is good. The top seals are tight and show no leaks. There are a few wrinkles on the top but that is to be expected on an almost 20-year-old car. Mechanically she opens and closes with zero issues
What is the condition of the convertible top interior headlining? See picture 99 and 101 showing wrinkles by the back seats.
@Racedog no records of the clutch being replaced, but the clutch pedal is strong and responsive. No signs of excessive wear on any of the engine or transmission components
Has the clutch ever been replaced?
@rpaolini56 Yes. See page 146-149 for details on the IMS bearing.
Beautiful car!
Is IMS BEARING updated?
@davidbartosh The Hardtop is included in the sale. see picture 154 for a photo of the hardtop. The hardtop is in great condition and has been stored in a garage along with the car.
Bid in the amount of $8,500
Do you have a picture of the hardtop? I don't see one in the gallery or videos.

@Skindoc for the money, I don’t believe there is a better drivers car out there right now. Flat 6-cylinder symphony, 6-speed manual transmission and modern day reliability.
What a lovely 996.2 cabriolet. These are terrific drivers and surprisingly fast even by today’s standards. I think FMV on this well documented example should be 27-34k. GLWA
@Harbormotorcars @Carwaymotors thanks!
@Fellscreek AC and Radio both working and I added more content tp the gallery. Let me know if you have any other questions
@Fellscreek added more content to the gallery
Bid in the amount of $5,000
@Fellscreek Yes will do it later today. Check back tomorrow morning for content
Hi . Could you provide a startup video and top up/down video. Does radio work? AC Strong?
@Fellscreek I invite you to come see the car in person. She looks great
@Txporsche This one has the sports exhaust! Game Changer
@Harbormotorcars @Carwaymotors I agree. Mine has 38,000 miles and I purchased it in Jan 2020 sight unseen in Raleigh, NC W/26,000 miles. Flew into Raleigh, the lady met me with it at the airport, drove to her home to put the hard top on it and drove it home to Dallas. My only complaint is that it does NOT make enough noise.
@Txporsche Incredible driving cars, especially for the value. This one comes from a factory with a sports exhaust and 6-speed and Sport Classic Wheels. Tough to find these days especially in nice condition, the next owner will be very happy
I have the same car except for mine being a C4,
down to colors, hardtop, etc. and I had been the best of the (4) 911’s I’ve owned. These are great cars with lots of power and are pretty much bulletproof. Good luck with the auction.
@Harbormotorcars @Carwaymotors the ps front fender also looks as though it was repainted. Seems a different shad than the door?
@Fellscreek Hard Top is included. The front bumper was repainted because of road wear. You are more then welcome to come look at the car in person, I am available Thursday if that works PM me
Nice car! Was the entire ps front fender repaired/repainted? Also, I’d the hardtop included in sale? Is the car in NJ and available to view? Thank you.
