Factory-equipped with the X51 Power Kit, this 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe has been extensively modified for dedicated track use, featuring an engine displacement increase to 3.8 liters by Precision Motorsports and a rebuilt 6-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include an IMS solution, M&M stainless steel exhaust system, ASCO lightweight flywheel, Sachs performance clutch, and an IPD intake plenum. Adorned in race livery, the car also features comprehensive safety equipment and a suite of race-focused modifications. A PCA Club Racing J Class 2018 National Championship winner, this example is now being offered for auction by the seller out of New Jersey with approximately 46k miles on the odometer.

Finished in blue, this Carrera has been wrapped in race-inspired livery by MC Motorsports Design of Redmond, Virginia. Exterior modifications include a GT3-style front bumper, front and rear tow hooks, hood pins, and a GT3 Cup fixed rear wing. The car rides on 18" OZ Racing wheels mounted with 2021-dated Hoosier P7 tires. Two additional sets of matching wheels, along with one set of 17" BBS wheels with tires and a set of 18" five-spoke wheels, will accompany the sale. The seller notes the left rear quarter panel has been refinished. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a CARFAX report noting minor front-end damage in November 2019.

The cabin has been stripped for weight reduction and equipped with an IMSA-spec roll cage featuring NASCAR-style driver-side door bars. A new OMP HTE-R racing seat is paired with Schroth six-point harnesses and HANS-compatible shoulder belts. Additional race-focused equipment includes a CoolShirt system with helmet blower, a Motorola communications radio, an AIM SmartyCam system, and a removable Sparco steering wheel. The seller notes that the check engine and airbag warning lights are illuminated, as the emission controls and airbags have been removed for racing purposes.

The original flat-six engine was factory-equipped with the X51 Carrera Power Kit, featuring revised cylinder heads, pistons, exhaust manifold, modified valves, larger lift camshafts, an additional radiator, an upgraded oiling system, and an aluminum air intake. In 2019, Precision Motorsports rebuilt and enlarged the engine to 3.8 liters. The 6-speed manual transmission was also rebuilt at that time. Additional performance equipment includes an IMS solution, tuning for 100-octane fuel, an M&M stainless steel exhaust system, ASCO lightweight flywheel, Sachs performance clutch, IDP intake plenum with an 82mm GT3 throttle body, and solid engine mounts.

This race-ready Carrera is offered with a bill of sale and some spare parts.

The seller would like you to know: “This is the 2018 J-class PCA Club Racing National Championship car.”

@911Brez It was last on track in October 2022. Precision Motorsports did the original build and all modifications since then. The harnesses are good thru 2025.

Has it been on track since 2021? Who did the original build? Are the harnesses current?
