Representing the top-tier Carrera of the 996 generation, this 4S Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. It features a 6-speed manual transmission driving all four wheels as well as the optional Sport Exhaust System, Sport Seats with crested headrests, and aluminum trim inlays. Acquired by the current owner in 2018 and fortified with a replacement clutch & IMS bearing, this Carrera 4S shows approximately 84k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction out of Montana.
The 4S receives wider fenders compared to the standard Carrera in addition to Turbo-style bumpers, rockers, wheels, red-painted brake calipers, and a unique reflector band between the taillights. This example comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and wears clear paint protection film over the front quarter. The factory 18” Turbo-Look wheels were re-powdercoated in 2021 and come dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires bearing approximately 5k miles of use. An additional set of Pirelli 240 snow tires is said to be provided as well. The current owner opted to have the front bumper replaced following a minor incident that caused two small cracks in 2019. Inside, the cabin is appointed with Graphite Grey full leather upholstery including optional Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests and shifter/brake levers with aluminum inlays. Driver amenities include automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. An upgraded Alpine stereo has been installed along with an amplifier and front/rear camera system. Some scrapes are noted on the front seatbacks and the seller confirms all accessories and instrumentation to be fully functional.
All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing up to 315 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. The optional Sport Exhaust System came equipped from the factory and the seller reports that both the 30k-mile and 90k-mile interval services have been completed per manufacturer recommendations. The water pump and CV boots were replaced in 2019 and the seller reports the clutch and IMS bearing were also previously replaced.

@davidlam2022 Water pump was also done last year. The reservoir cracked and I just decided to do the pump at the same time. Getting the reservoir out was not easy for the mechanic so it made sense to do the pump then.
@davidlam2022 IMS bearing was replaced in 2018 and registered. There is a sticker on the door jam. Clutch was also replaced at that time as it's easy to do when the IMS bearing is accessed. 90,000 mile service was done. I was not planning on any other service.

@Mikeeymikee Yes. a couple of stitches have come out of the top of the shifter boot.
I don't know what caused the marks on back of the seats. The previous owners may have had golf clubs in the back. Not sure.
A couple more questions:
1. Is the shifter boot starting to tear towards the top? Assuming this can be repaired somewhat easily.
2. What caused all of the marks on the back of the driver / passenger seats?

Seller you need a cold start video
Showing the tail pipes. We are looking for the blue smoke that could be an indication that the cylinders are scored. Normally bank 2 it’s worse than bank one, driver side tail pipes.

Thanks for taking a look at this auction. I am the seller and will monitor this closely and try to provide additional information as requested. The car does come with both summer and winter floor mats as well as summer and winter tires. An aftermarket camera system looking out the front and rear windshield/glass is installed. There is an old Sirius satellite system installed but not activated. This has been my daily driver, winter and summer, up until last fall. As mentioned, the car had minor front bumper damage documented in the photos when it was backed into in a neighbor's driveway. I chose to have the bumper replaced. I have good documentation on the all work done while I have had it and decent documentation from the prior owner. Again, thanks for taking a look.
