Up for auction is this tastefully-equipped 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera coupe presented in Black over a luxurious Black full leather interior. Showcasing a custom GT2-style body kit along with an IMS bearing upgrade and a 6-Speed manual transmission, this 996 Carrera just might be the one. It is now being offered for auction in excellent condition out of Stamford, CT with 31k miles showing on the odometer.
The Black finish on this Carrera is shown to be in excellent condition with paint protection film applied over the front bumper, mirrors and half-hood. Upgraded Precision Porsche GT2-style bumpers and side skirts have been installed along with a "911" model designation decal and Turbo-style exhaust tips all providing for a unique look that is sure to stand out among other examples. This 996 rides on OEM 18” Carrera 4S twist wheels which are currently wrapped in Continental all-season tires. The seller confirms that the original set of 17” wheels will be included in-sale.
This Carrera features an exceptionally clean black full leather interior with power-operated seats and Porsche crested headrests. Exclusive factory options include shifter and brake handles in carbon fiber and aluminum, Xenon headlamps, the Bose high end sound package and a rear window wiper. The seller notes that an OEM ashtray delete has been installed for extra storage along with upgraded alloy pedal covers. The seller confirms that all gauges, electrical components and accessories are fully functional.
This 996 is equipped with a rear-mounted 3.6L flat-six engine rated at 320 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a smooth 6-speed manual transmission resulting in a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds. Records indicate that this car has been kept up-to-date on all scheduled service with a critical IMS bearing upgrade carried out by LN Engineering. Showing just over 30k miles on the odometer, this 996 is said to remain in excellent driving condition.
The sale of this 996 will include a set of two keys, original books and accessories, original window sticker, service records, factory 17” wheels, and a clear title.
