This 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black Full leather upholstery. Originally configured at an MSRP of approximately $112k, it was optioned with a Tiptronic S transmission, the Carbon Interior Package, Bose High-End Sound System, Xenon Headlamp Package, supple leather heated front seats, Porsche Stability Management, 18” Sport Design wheels, a host of additional carbon interior appointments, and more. Showing less than 65k miles on the odometer, this 996 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
This example comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black convertible soft top. It rides on optional 18” Sport Design wheels with colored Porsche center crests dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires. The Xenon Headlamp Package was additionally opted for. The seller notes a minor pebble-caused crack in the windshield was sealed and the soft top has been replaced. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report and paint meter readings.
The Black full leather interior is complemented by the optional Carbon Interior Package along with a carbon rear center console, carbon steering wheel trim, carbon & aluminum gear selector & brake accents, carbon door sills with model insignias, and black floor mats with Porsche lettering. Other options include the supple leather seats, the Power Seat Package, lumbar support, the Bose High-End Sound System, Parking Assist System, Porsche Communication Management II, and a remote 6-disc CD changer. The radio is reported to be inoperable since a recent battery change.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine rated at 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds. The seller adds that a new battery and alternator have been installed since their acquisition in October 2021. The CARFAX report shows a total of 20 service history entries.
