Up for auction is this 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Coupe finished in Black over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. Highlighting a 6-Speed manual transmission along with a proper history of maintenance, this 2-owner example is ready to be enjoyed and driven by its next owner. Currently residing with its seller in Atlanta, Georgia, this Carrera 4S is now being offered for auction in great overall condition showing approximately 70k miles on the odometer.
The Black exterior finish on this Carrera is said to be in great condition with only minor road wear present. As a 4S variant, this 911 showcases the revised front bumper and widened fenders of the 996 Turbo model. Other features include factory optioned Stainless Steel Exhaust pipes, Xenon Headlights and desirable OEM 18” Sport Techno wheels that come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Inside you will find a Graphite Grey leather interior that is said to have been well taken care of. Factory options include the Bose High-End Sound System with remote 6-disc CD changer, supple leather seating and the Aluminum Look interior package. The seller notes that all gauges and accessories are fully operational.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine that is capable of sending approximately 320 HP to rear wheels by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include an AFE air intake, Fabspeed catless x pipe, Fabspeed mini cats, two sets of spacers, wheel studs and extended lugs. The seller notes that the original airbox and cats will be included with the sale.
This Carrera is said to be in excellent running condition represented by an extensive collection of service records. The original owner states that the clutch and IMS have both replaced at 50k miles along with a reseal of the RMS. This example is stated to be up to date on all service including a recent oil change and front brake pad replacement.
This sale will also include two keys, books, a set of OEM turbo twists wheels, brand new soft touch center console, factory spacer kits, factory air intake, original catalyic converters, service records, and a clean Carfax report. @pjvictor the turbo is an incredible experience, but agree, as I 've thought about a C4S and a supercharger for more fun/linear power

@signalMTB the 3.6 naturally aspirated motor is a wonderful power plant that many consider much more enjoyable than the turbo. It’s all opinions but the C4S body with this motor is fantastic!
anyone here ever moved from a 996 turbo to a C4S? Thoughts if so

@Canes911 The windshield is the original factory windshield, all the way down to the Hennessy Porsche sticker. There is no rust present and the vehicle has never been resprayed to my knowledge.
Is the windshield the factory original? Any rust issues? And hopefully the last thing I can think of, any paint respray? Thanks!
@signalMTB yes I'm 100% on the front driveshaft condition. This car has never been tracked nor driven aggressively so there would be no reason for the driveshaft to fall out of place. The current tires have roughly 90-92% life left. Hope this helps.
@seller Are you 100% certain the front driveshaft is still in place? What's your estimate on tire life left?
Today is the final day! Just wanted to let everyone know I’m here to answer any questions you may have and wish luck to those bidding! Have fun!

@macungiebear the IMS, RMS and Clutch were all serviced at the same time. The front brake pads were replaced back in April so that’s one less thing you have to worry about. Good luck bidding.
@SkylerEvans05 thanks very much for the quick reply. i may have missed it, but did not see the IMS done at same time as clutch and RMS. is there a page yet to be posted?
also did you have the front brakes replaced as was recommended by Goldcrest last year?
@macungiebear copies of the repairs are listed in the photos. I did not have the PPI performed, just saw a copy of it at the shop.
Very nice 996. You mentioned a previous ppi and show work done in 2014/2019. Thanks for sharing. Please post the ppi repot
@SkylerEvans05 Thanks for the reply. Like I said before, nice car. I’ll be keeping an eye on this over the next couple of days.
@Canes911 Great questions. I’m making sure the car and photos tell the story through clarity and transparency so you are correct, road rash/rock chips are current. Very hard to avoid on a 17 year old 911. Picture 23 is an old star on the passengers side of the windshield. The star was there when I purchased the vehicle. A PPI was performed over a year ago by Goldcrest Motorsports in Atlanta and zero over revs were found. Along with that they found no signs of bore scoring to be present. As you can see in the video, there is no smoke during the cold start. At this point in the auction a PPI would be hard to have performed but I am open to showing the vehicle in person if you’d like. Please don’t hesitate to ask additional questions. I want to provide as much insight as possible.
Hello, seems like a nice 996. Looks like a bit of road rash on the front bumper and hood. In photo 23, are you showing a chip in the windshield? Has any PPI been done on the car? I am curious about unseen issues such as bore scoring, transfer case condition etc. I’m new to this auction stuff so apologize for the questions, since I would be more comfortable buying with a PPI.
@Ccoucap the Fabspeed x-pipe system retains the factory sensors plus comes with mini-cats integrated so it will pass emissions. The vehicle has been registered in Atlanta it's whole life with zero emission issues. I'm including the original catalytic convertors with the sale by the way. I hope this helps.

Given the cats removed and the exhaust work, will this pass emissions tests?
Video content has been added to the listing.

@Kwoodwo a series of videos will be posted by tomorrow.
Could we see a cold start video from behind the car?
Thanks!
