The high-performance Mini Cooper S gained a supercharged engine, a firmer suspension, and visual modifications compared to the standard Mini Cooper. Finished in British Racing Green Metallic over Panther Black leather upholstery, this 2003 example features the Sport Package and a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the dealer-installed John Cooper Works (JCW) options package includes the JCW engine kit, JCW sport big brake kit, and a limited-slip differential. The car is said to have been stored in a climate-controlled showroom as part of a private collection by its first and only owner. Showing approximately 4k kilometers or 2,500 miles on the odometer, this Mini Cooper is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Quebec.
This R53 is finished in British Racing Green Metallic contrasted with white bonnet stripes, mirror caps, a checker-patterned roof, and white-painted 17” alloy wheels as part of the Sport Package. Details include body-color Cooper S-specific bumpers, a hood scoop, a roof spoiler, black trim, front fog and dealer-installed original rally lights, JCW badging, and JCW-branded center-exit exhaust outlets. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is welcomed by Panther Black leather upholstery and silver trim along the doors and dashboard. Equipment includes a two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, power side mirrors, a rear window wiper, a 50/50 split folding rear seat, and Cooper S-designated door sills. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power comes from a supercharged and intercooled 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine that was dealer-equipped with the John Cooper Works Tuning Kit, which added re-mapped engine management software as well as an upgraded cylinder head, supercharger pulley, air intake, and fuel injectors. The front wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The seller states that a brand-new original transmission equipped with a limited-slip differential has been installed during his ownership, along with a John Cooper Works Air Intake. The seller also states maintenance is up-to-date, and the CARFAX report shows eight detailed records.
This sale will include a Canadian registration, an original mini-indoor car cover mimicking the exact look of the car, a toolkit, and a battery charger.

@Besmall Should be around 2k US. Prices this time of the year can be cheaper as trucks bringing back canadian snowbirds’ cars are returning empty to Florida.

I purchased a 2012 Goodwood from Adam approximately 18 months ago on Pcar Market. I decided to fly out and pick up the car and drive it over the border to my home in Manhattan. The process was simple and fun.
When I met Adam he took me to his shop where he not only works ( really not an accurate word as he is very passionate about what he does) on mini coopers and Porsches.
I decided to upgrade the suspension, shocks and tires on my car which he did prior to me picking up the car.
I cannot be more satisfied and smile every time I get into my car.
Thank you for the bid @Super33garage. Contact me in private with your zip code so I can get you a quote for the transport.

Thank you kindly for your colorful and extremely thorough responses.
@Super33garage Yes absolutely, enclosed, door to door. I will add protection on exterior paint and interior surfaces so you can unwrap it like a brand new car at reception.
@Artdeckco Thank you for your interest and your questions:
1-The car was attended to prior to my ownership by a collection concierge/retired mechanic who was taking care of the Prior owner’s collection that comprised Ford GT and GT40 and other historic vehicles. Every car was run in the summer and duting winter the cars were cleaned, leather treated, the whole spa, every year.
During my ownership, i continued the same thing, but i also wiped/detailed the underside yearly, it was a pleasurable thing to do and borderline meditative.
2-The original tires (Pirelli Euphoria) are still on the car, not a single crack, but definitely can be renewed for safety, and stored for collection purpose. To avoid flat spots, i let the car sit on a different set of wheels in the winter (BBS R90 17 inch) that are available for an extra. The existing original 2003 coded tires run smooth and no flat spots.
3-The car was used yearly (every summer) to use up the fuel in the tank and refill with new fuel.
4-Transmission was upgraded by a complete “Brand New” unit with the BKL coded limited slip differential. As we all know, 2005-2006 JCW had the Getrag transmissions that were optioned with LSD, and i wanted to put the best on this car, as it deserved it. Original transmission was new like the car. I sold it to finance partially the new LSD transmission. I have owned a MINI imdependant shop for the last 15 years and i have swappec the transmission myself (not my employyes) and have filled it with the original MINI transmission oil.
The cost was 8-9k for the part alone if i remember correctly. Will add picture of bill very soon.
5-There is no dry rot and all bushing are in perfect shape.
6-Battery is Brand new Bosch dated 2024. I think i still have the original battery. I will put a 2025 one for the new owner.
7-Car was never tracked. Just driven like it should on early sunny sunday morning city and highway.
8-I do not know the exact output, i never dynoed the car. As per MINI it is around 200hp.
9-No swirl marks, never clayed(never needed it).
Paint is original, paint meter readings will be posted also.
I can arrange a PPI at a MINI dealership of your choice.
Window sticker will follow Also.
Are you able to tell me what was done by the owner to eliminate flat spots in the tires over 20+ years of sitting?
Similar question as to how often the car was run around the block.
Were all rubber bushings and grommets over-oiled to protect from dry rot? Frequency?
How often was the old gasoline drained and fresh, high octane gasoline replaced?
Are the original tires installed?
Is the original battery installed? I sounds like you used a trickle charger.
How often did you moisten the leather interior yearly?
Was the car ever tracked? Times and track?
What is the factory HP and torque?
When and why were the transmission and differential replaced? Were they replaced or rebuilt?
Can the original owner post the original window sticker?
Are there swirl marks in the paint? Has the car being clayed?

Possible to help ship to the US?
Greetings Pcar people
If you have missed buying a Supercharged MINI when they were new, this is your second chance 20-25 years later.
I had acquired this MINI to show case in my Independent MINI workshop.
Every bolt, nut and washer still bears its 2003 shine. Pictures of the underside will follow soon and I do remember giggling when I saw the underside for the first time as I had never such a clean undercarriage . Everything is new and clean.
This is a collector grade MINI that was kept by its first owner in a climate controlled garage along other highly collectible cars. I did document its previous life with photos but promised the owner (at his request) to not make them public but only share them with whoever will take over the torch.
I stay available here or in private and I will do my best to answer in a timely manner.
Thank you and GLWA
