Available for auction at no reserve is this 2003 Mercedes-Benz C215 CL500 Coupe finished in Desert Silver Metallic over a Java leather interior. Originally purchased from Mercedes-Benz of St. Charles, Illinois, this CL500 remained with its original owner up until 2012 when it was acquired by its second and subsequently a third. It comes factory equipped with heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bose stereo, COMAND infotainment with navigation and a power glass sunroof. Recently serviced in preparation for sale, this CL500 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York showing just over 105k miles on the odometer.
This CL500 coupe comes finished in Desert Silver Metallic (693) and features the AMG Styling package, including aerodynamic side skirts and revised front and rear bumpers. Other external attributes include xenon headlamps, power-folding side mirrors with integrated signals, dual exhaust outlets, a power sunroof and pillarless side windows. The seller notes very light blemishes on the rear bumper. Additional images including paint meter readings are provided in the image gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This C215 rides on factory 18” wheels with Bridgestone Serenity tires in the front and Nankang AS-1 in the rear.
The well-kept interior is trimmed in Java leather upholstery with decorative chestnut wood inlays throughout. Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer along with gauges for coolant temp and fuel level. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front and rear window washers, and a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with a power-adjustable column.
Power comes from an M113 5.0L V8 engine rated at 302 HP and 339 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a five-speed automatic transmission. The CARFAX report includes 29 service records dating back to the original pre-delivery inspection, and the seller notes a recent service has been carried out including the replacement of the rear ABC suspension accumulator along with the installation of a new air conditioning compressor.
