A full-size off-road SUV inspired by the original AM General Hummer, the Hummer H2 was produced under contract from General Motors in the same facility as its military-derived predecessor. Equipped with a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 engine, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential, it features a luxurious interior with leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, third-row seating, and a BOSE sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. This 2003 example is finished in Sunset Orange Metallic over Tan Wheat leather upholstery and has been modified with 17” Moto Metal wheels. This H2 remained under the care of its original owner in Louisiana until September 2023 and is now being offered for auction out of Missouri with approximately 7k miles showing on the odometer.
The H2 uses a modified GM three-quarter-ton pickup front end with a half-ton 1500 rear frame. The exterior evokes classic Hummer styling with its squared bodywork, rectangular windows, vertical front grille slats, and a vented forward-hinged hood with external latches. This example is finished in Sunset Orange Metallic and rides on aftermarket black-painted 17” Moto Metal wheels with 37”x12.5” Yokohama Geolander X-AT tires. Equipment includes automatic headlamps, fog lights, a rear window wiper, black tubular side steps, front and rear receiver hitches, tow hooks, a sunroof, and roof crossbars.
The cabin is appointed with Tan Wheat leather upholstery including heated 8-way power adjustable front seats with lumbar support, heated middle-row seats, and a folding third-row seat. Accessories include a leather-wrapped four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an outside temperature indicator, a compass, a BOSE sound system, a CD player, an AMF/FM CD stereo, and rear radio controls. All-season WeatherTech floor liners have been installed and a set of unused OEM front floor mats is included.
Rated at 316 HP and 360 lb.-ft of torque, the 6.0-liter Vortec V8 engine delivers power to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case and a locking rear differential. The H2 features independent front torsion bar suspension, a five-link coil spring rear suspension, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The CARFAX report shows an oil service was performed in October 2023.
This sale will include an owner’s manual, jack, tools, front floor mats, and a clean title.

WELP! Seems even the auction house felt the same way @Seller and removed the bid in your opinion was normal.
Also a 200,000 mile Hummer is not $19,000, more like $8-$11k.

@Seller - Best of luck! I was simply saying that it’s abnormal for someone to bid $38,000 (when current bid was $10k). Seems odd and suspicious especially coming from a guy who has bought and sold cars on this platform.
PS, someone would totally place a first bid of $993 on a Porsche 993. It may not be your end “buyer” but the more bids draw more attention! IMO

@carcollector48 Serious buyers/bidders do not play games. Why bid $993.00 on a $200,000.00 993 Turbo (why waste your time)? This is not a rusted 200,000 mile, $19,000.00 rusted H2. This H2 is in amazing condition and is almost like new!
The undercarriage is just as clean as the top. The paint was professionally ceramic coated. Everything works as it should, including the four-wheel drive system and rear center locker. I will upload some videos soon.
All fluids have been serviced including the four-wheel drive system.
I spoke with the prior owner last month and he still has the original factory H2 wheels and tires. He said the tire still have the nipples on them. He really babied this H2 and it shows.
