Available for auction is this Shelby Cobra Replica finished in Canary Yellow over a brown vinyl interior. A high-quality recreation of one of the most iconic cars of all time, this Cobra is equipped with a 454ci Chevrolet big block V8 engine mated to a Tremec 6-speed transmission and features 4-wheel disc brakes, QA1 coilovers, 17” Cobra R style wheels, and more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri while showing just over 1k miles on the odometer.
This Cobra comes finished in Canary Yellow with black over-the-top stripes, a hood scoop, fender vents, 454 badging, a chrome driver-side roll hoop, a polished fuel filler cap, bullet-style side mirrors, chrome bumperettes, and side-exit exhaust pipes with premium covers. It rides on a set of 17” chrome Cobra R-style wheels dressed in Kumho Ecsta tires from 2003. The seller notes that upon close inspection, the finish shows minor imperfections and has provided a collection of detailed images which can be found in the gallery
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in brown vinyl with matching door panels and carpets. Accessories include Simpson harnesses, a wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel, Stewart Warner and Autometer instrumentation, a cue-ball style shift knob with a leather boot, and a Flaming River tilting steering column.
Power comes from a 454ci Chevrolet big block V8 engine with 10:1 compression and GM tech performance cylinder heads. A claimed output of 485 HP is sent to the rear wheels by way of a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and an 8.8” rear end with 4.10 gears. The suspension includes adjustable QA1 coilovers and stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes. The car was assembled from a kit and was originally assigned a VIN number by the state of Colorado.
