The tenth generation of the Ford F-150 was named Truck of the Year by MotorTrend in 1997. It debuted for the model year with an updated chassis, a rear-hinged curb-side door, and a fully independent front suspension. This final-year SuperCab XLTT is reported to have been lovingly cared for by one owner out of Oregon, where it is now being offered for auction at no reserve while showing just under 60k miles on the odometer.
This F-150 comes finished in its factory-specified shade of Dark Shadow Gray (CX) and rides on 16” polished aluminum wheels dressed in BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT tires. The Supercab XLT version measures 139”. Details include chrome front and rear bumpers, front fog lights, chrome F-150 model insignias, 4x4 designations, side steps, and a rear tow hitch. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features grey cloth seats and carpeting with matching leather and vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, a cloth headliner, dual instrument panel cup holders, and dual A-pillar grab handles.
Beneath the hood lies a 4.6-liter V8 “Triton” engine, which sends power to all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering, 4-pin trailer tow wiring, a fail-safe cooling feature, front torsion bar and rear leaf spring suspension, and gas-pressurized shock absorbers. The seller adds that routine maintenance was carried out approximately every 3k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.
