The third-generation Dodge Viper was released in 2003 as the SRT-10 featuring a major redesign with new bodywork, a stiffened and lightened chassis, and a 8.3L V10 producing 500 HP. This 2005 example was ordered in Viper Red over a black leather interior and delivered new in Louisiana where it has remained with the same owner since new while kept in a climate-controlled garage. Showing under 7k miles on the odometer, this launch-year Viper SRT-10 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This SRT-10 is finished in Viper Red (PRN) with a black convertible soft top. Exterior features include a hood scoop and louvers, roll hoops, fog lights, black brake calipers with white Viper script, and side-exit exhaust tips. The seller reports the Dodge badge on the driver’s side of the rear bumper has been replaced at some point and was not reinstalled properly. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The polished staggered-diameter factory wheels measure 18” in the front and 19” in the rear, mounted with the original Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The interior features two deeply bolstered sports seats trimmed in black leather with grey fabric inserts and Viper embroideries on the backrests. Amenities include air conditioning, a factory stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer, a push-button ignition switch, power windows, and Viper-branded floor mats. The driver is supplied with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, alloy pedals, white-faced instrumentation, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage.
The Viper SRT-10 is powered by a naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V10 factory rated at 500 HP and 525 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in as little as 3.6 seconds and the Viper can reach a top speed of up to 195 MPH. The SRT-10 is equipped with a 4-wheel independent suspension and Brembo brakes paired with ABS and 14” rotors. Per the CARFAX report, the last service was completed in 2016 at a Chrysler dealership at just over 5k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.

Gotta love it when someone says they're passing on a car because photos of the engine weren't provided quick enough for them (which we did have them up when all other photos were uploaded) and they're now up showing a flawless engine compartment. Confident anyone actually serious about a vehicle is happy to see what they were hoping for, and bids to own a 4k mile one owner car. Comments can certainly be comical!

@MichaelSecrest1 because they had already been uploaded. No worries!

@MichaelSecrest1 we uploaded the photos 7 days ago. Pcarmarket had an issue with their back end, which they acknowledged today. You can ask them about it.
This is it! Anyone that has been searching for an ultra low mileage example with a clean history, I suggest not passing this one by! A ONE owner vehicle which has been garage kept since new. The perfect addiction to any collection or for someone looking to enjoy the largest naturally aspirated V10 ever produced for a road legal vehicle!
We're happy to assist with nationwide shipping and provide a 30 day temporary plate to anyone in need.
Good Luck!
@Addicted2cars with all due respect, there are four minutes left in this auction. There is no proof to show on a vehicle which is not able to be read with a meter. We look at cars all day and have been for 20+ years. This is without a doubt one of the nicest, and certainly lowest mileage Vipers left out there. The replacement of an emblem did not bother me, and should have no impact on this auctions outcome.

@VantageAuto - I did not know that about the fiberglass, thanks......what proof do you have that it is the original paint? A one owner car should come with details as to why the Dodge emblem had to be replaced.
Seller stated that he or she would respond RIGHT AWAY to any requests. I asked for photos of engine compartment and trunk 4 days ago and they finally get posted with a few hours to go in the auction. As a registered bidder, it makes me wonder...
@Addicted2cars tires are original, which is awesome for anyone looking to collect. They actually look great. If anyone wants to drive regularly can throw a new set on, but save these!

@Addicted2cars you cant paint meter a fiberglass car...
@vantageauto - no undercarriage pics, date codes on tires, etc? Most importantly paint meter readings.....sorry but I will not place a bid without that info (probably my own fault for not asking sooner!).

Sorry for the last minute question, but how is this car for taller drivers? Any comments would be appreciated. Good luck with auction on this gorgeous auto.

@Addicted2cars I apologize for not knowing how to upload the photos. Asking pcar for help

A couple more requests please - what are the date codes on the tires, pics of the underside of the front lip, cold start video and is the front drivers seat cracked and faded on the top front part of the seat or is that just the lighting?
Again, my apologies for the last minute requests, this just crossed my radar today.
Bid in the amount of $40,000
Sorry to throw this at you on the last day, but any idea why the rear emblem had to be replaced? I would guess paintwork? What are the odds of getting some paint meter readings and undercarriage pics before the end of the auction?

Final day! This is without a doubt one of, if not the cleanest examples you will find anywhere. An iconic vehicle which will only continue to appreciate as time ticks on.
Here is a video walkaround of the vehicle. Please excuse any background noise/talking.
Any last day questions please let me know!
