The seller reports that the vehicle was completely refinished in 2017 while under previous ownership, and adds that paint protection film covers the full front end. Power comes from the venerable 3.2-liter S54 inline-six, generating up to 333 HP and 269 lb.-ft of torque. Widely regarded as one of BMW’s best engine designs, the S54 derives motorsport technology including individual throttle bodies, quasi-dry sump lubrication, and upgraded Mahle pistons. Originally equipped with an SMG automatic transmission, the rear wheels are now driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Performance upgrades include a CSL carbon fiber intake, a ZCP ECU with an M3 CSL MAP, BMW Performance front 6-piston brake calipers and front strut tower bar, ECS Tuning front brake rotors, Porsche 996 911 rear 4-piston brake calipers, stainless steel brake lines, KW V2 coilovers, and polyurethane bushing for the rear trailing arms. The CARFAX includes 29 service history entries dating back to 2003, and service under current ownership has included the replacement of the bottom-end engine gaskets, new rod bearings, an alignment, a rear differential flush, and oil and filter services. The seller has provided service documentation which is available for reference in the gallery.

I have owned a few E46 M3s & E39 M5s, Alpinas, etc, and own three now. But never tracked one. Must be a blast! Wish there was a track here in the sticks, but closest is like 3 hours away. Any event, enjoy this gem, and have fun at the raceway! You bought a sweet looking M3!

@racingenterprisesfl It was replaced with an upgraded unit by the previos oener back in 2015 when the vehicle had 120704 miles. Please find a copy of the receipt on the gallery. Also, he went ahead and replaced a few more important parts like rod berings, oil pump and more. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
