Available for auction is this 2003 BMW E46 M3 Coupe finished in Schwarz II over a Dove Grey leather interior. This 6-speed example features a rare sunroof-delete "slicktop" roof as well as manually adjustable seats and several tasteful modifications including a cold air intake, CSL style front lip, and aftermarket wheels. This M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey showing approximately 105k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Schwarz II, this M3 sports several major differences compared with a standard 3-Series Coupe including its widened bodywork, revised front bumper, mirrors, rear valence, and signature M-Power quad-tip exhaust. The seller notes a few minor touched-up scratches as well as a dent on the driver’s door. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Modifications include a CSL-style front lip, fog light covers with brake ducts, and a set of aftermarket 18" wheels dressed in mixed Michelin/General tires.
The Dove Grey Nappa leather interior features manually adjustable front seats and a black roof liner. Amenities include a multifunction M sport steering wheel, the HiFi Speaker System, and automatic climate control. Aftermarket pedal covers have been installed and the inner armrests have been wrapped in black Alcantara along with the dashboard trim pieces.
Up to 343 HP comes from a naturally aspirated S54 3.2L inline 6-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. An upgraded cold air intake has been installed for increased performance and induction sound. The CARFAX report shows 24 service records dating as far back as 2003 and the seller notes the rod bearings were addressed under recall during prior ownership.
This sale will include a clean title.

@bdonahue54 I actually just found the photo I took at bmw saying the recall has been done.
@Faraz the paint has two scratches on it but otherwise I’d give it an 8.5/10.
@bdonahue54 I can get it from bmw sometime this week.
Do you have documentation of said rod bearing service?
Hi, do you know how you got the dent on the driver door? Also, how is the condition of the paint?

@aMota nope the car was stored in my garage in the winter, first took it out in March. The previous owner also had it garage kept and he was located in Maryland!
Great looking car! Was it used much in the winter months?
@maw1124 as for the subframe it hasn’t been reinforced and the vanos is listed on bmws system as being done at the dealer with a stock unit when the car had 96k miles.
@maw1124 yeah you can definitely hear it from the outside! The bearings were covered under warranty, I was planning on getting them done but I’m moving across the country for work. I have some parts to come with the car like front rotors, rear diff bushings, an oil change kit, and the stock wheels.
I notice the K&N is described as having increased “induction sound”. Can you actually hear that in a coupe? Mine is in a Vert, where you can definitely hear it. I guess while I’m here I should as (for others’ benefit) whether Vanos, RACP and Rod bearings have been taken care of.
