Recognized for its eye-catching design, balanced handling, and impressive performance, the Audi TT debuted as a concept car at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring a distinct Bauhaus-inspired design by J Mays and Freeman Thomas. In 1998, the production model was introduced at the Paris Motor Show, retaining the iconic round shape and the "TT" name referencing the Isle of Man's Tourist Trophy race. Finished in Ocean Blue Pearl over an Ocean Blue leather interior, this 2003 example features a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission, heated seats, aluminum interior trim, 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, and optional 17” cast alloy wheels. This Audi TT is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 131k miles on the odometer.
Designed at the Volkswagen Group Design Center in California, the TT is recognizable for its smooth rounded forms, sloped rear hatch, protruding fender flares, and rear spoiler. This Audi comes finished in Ocean Blue Pearl and benefits from the 2002 mid-cycle updates which include a redesigned front grille and a lower ride height. The optional 17” cast alloy wheels wear Hankook Ventus S1 tires from 2017. The seller states some scratches and signs of road wear on the paint as well as a 6" area of oxidation on the hood and on one of the aluminum roof rails. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Ocean Blue leather and features heated front sport bucket seats, electronic climate control, power windows, an Audi Concert AM/FM radio with CD player, cruise control, leather and aluminum shift knob, leather-wrapped tilt/telescopic 3-spoke steering wheel with aluminum center trim ring, center console with dual aluminum cup holders, and 50/50 split folding rear seats. Aluminum trim covers the dashboard vents, door handles, radio cover, and glove box cover. New front component speakers have been installed along with a new instrument cluster, central digital display, and air conditioning system. The seller notes the CD player to be sensitive to CD scratches and that there are some imperfections on the black interior plastic as well as fabric separation on top of the passenger side door panel and sagging headliner on the passenger side.
This TT is powered by a 20-valve 1.8 Liter DOHC turbocharged and intercooled 4-cylinder engine with electronic boost regulation and an output of up to 180 HP stock. The front wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission that allows for both automatic and manual gear changes. The seller states that oil changes have been performed every 6k miles under their ownership, and notes that the gearbox solenoids were replaced although there are occasional jerky gear changes. The CARFAX report shows a maintenance history dating back to 2003 including replacement of the water pump, rear brake pads, rear rotors, and timing belt in 2011 at approximately 73k miles.
This sale will include a key, a toolkit, a spare tire, the original instrument cluster, and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: "The Ocean Blue interior is a delight and matches the car very well. This TT runs well, has a newly installed AC system, and has had the troublesome instrument cluster and display replaced."

@Mbogues: Leather is in very good condition and a lovely color as well!
I've always liked that color, especially with how well it's matched with the seats. The leather looks like it's in great shape as well
