Available for auction is this 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish V12 finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over a two-tone black and grey leather interior. The successor to Aston Martin’s Vantage, the Vanquish debuted at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show featuring an advanced carbon fiber and alloy structure paired with a naturally aspirated V12 engine. This 2003 example was originally delivered by a dealer in Tacoma, Washington before being transported to California. The first owner covered approximately 34k miles before the car was sold at auction to its current owner in 2017. It comes equipped with power-adjustable heated seats, automatic climate control, parking sensors, 19” 12-spoke wheels, and more. Ths Vanquish is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California while showing just over 38k miles on the odometer.
Designed by Ian Callum, the Vanquish drew heavily upon the design of the 1998 Project Vantage concept car and featured a bonded aluminum composite chassis with a carbon fiber backbone developed in partnership with Lotus. This example comes finished in Titanium Silver Metallic and includes halogen projector-beam headlights, fog lights, a vented bonnet, straked fender vents, an integrated rear spoiler, and 19” 12-spoke alloy wheels dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2016. Some minor scuffs are noted on the rear bumper as well as some paint chipping along the door trim. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is highlighted by a pair of heated and power-adjustable sport seats trimmed in gray and black leather. The door panels are upholstered in a two-tone grey and black combination and the dashboard is wrapped in black leather with satin aluminum trim. Amenities include automatic climate control, a quilted headliner, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum pedals, an analog clock, pushbutton start, and a cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer. The seller notes that leather is peeling on the dashboard and the horn buttons need replacement, however, all other gauges and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine which produced up to 460 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of an electro-hydraulically operated 6-speed automated manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Vanquish features four-wheel independent suspension and braking handled by drilled and ventilated disc brakes with four-piston calipers and electronic brake distribution. Some maintenance history is available on the CARFAX report, and the seller notes that regular service has been carried out under the current ownership including timely oil and filter changes.
This sale will include a clean title.
