Initially delivered in Pennsylvania, the car later resided in Minnesota and Texas, where it is now being offered for auction by the seller at no reserve with under 75k miles showing on the odometer.
This Boxster was ordered in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Metropol Blue convertible soft top. Equipment includes headlamps with integrated fog lights, power mirrors, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual roll hoops, a center-mounted exhaust outlet, and 18" wheels. The seller recommends performing painless dent repair to address two minor dents and dings caused by hailstones. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a CARFAX noting a stolen vehicle report and damage report in 2013.
The Metropol Blue partial leather interior features the optional Sport Package, which adds a cabin wind deflector behind the seats, an alarm system, and a central locking system. Other amenities include automatic climate control, power seats, power side mirrors, a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, and an aftermarket Kenwood radio. All gauges and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 2.7-liter flat-six engine factory-rated at 217 HP and 192 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transmission. @Lemon_Curd Your observation regarding the irregular gap between the hood and the driver side front bender is exactly right. It has been that way since I have had the car. No bodywork of any kind has been done on this car under my ownership. I am not be aware of any accident or repainting not reported on CarFax (from prior to my ownership). It was a blind purchase from a dealer in another city.
The dents are exactly as observed. There is also a paint blemish below the left tail light (shown in pic 24).
I have spent $13,500 in the last two years on improving the usability and drivability of the car.
Among durable repair (besides regular maintenance):
Replaced SRS AirBag switch unit, core return, airbag sensor, oval head screw.
Replaced window regulator.
Removed wheel spacers & replaced aftermarket wheel bolts among major repairs performed by Porsche Austin.
Replaced front sway bar link for excessive play.
Replaced AC compressor, flush refrigerant lines, and replace drier cartridge.
Remove front hood trim piece to dry out (water found inside the trunk), drain outlet and replace trunk lid seal.
Replace spark plugs.
@amit69 There appears to be an irregular gap between the hood and the driver side front fender. There also appears to be a color mismatch between the driver side front fender and door. Are you aware of any accident or any repainting on this side of the car which was not reported in the CarFax report?
Are the dents limited to what we can see directly above the driver side front wheel, (pic 29), the two smaller dents above the driver side rear wheel, (pic 31), and the larger dent on rearmost part of the driver side rear quarter immediately beside the taillights, (also visible in pic 31)? Are there any other dents that I have maybe missed?
