Up for auction at no reserve is this 2002 Porsche Boxster finished in Guard’s Red over a black and Savanna Beige partial leather interior. Offering open air excitement and mid-engine agility, the Boxster was introduced for the 1997 model year as Porsche’s modern-day roadster. Equipped with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission, this Boxster has recently received a fully serviced replacement engine with an upgraded IMS bearing. Offered at no reserve with approximately 131k miles showing on the odometer, this Boxster is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
This Boxster is said to have been fully refinished in its original color of Guard’s Red within the last few months. The paint is noted to be in very good condition with minimal signs of wear and the Carfax report indicates some previous "minor" damage to the right rear quarter. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. This Boxster features a newly replaced black cabriolet top and factory 17” alloy Boxster wheels which come wrapped in Nitto Motivo tires.
The driver is situated in a black and Savannah beige interior with freshly reupholstered leather seats. Factory options include a CD shelf center console and the P09 Sport Package which consists of a wind stopper, car alarm, cruise control, and the Hi-Fi Sound System. The cabin is stated to be in great shape with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.
Power comes from a sourced 2.7 L flat-six engine which sends 217 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission. Featuring an L&N IMS bearing upgrade, this 67k mile 2002 Boxster engine was swapped in only a few months ago after it had been fully serviced outside of the car. The following maintenance items were addressed during this time:
Having been driven barely any miles since the engine replacement, this Boxster is said to be in excellent ready-to-drive condition.
The sale of this Boxster will include one master key and service records. At no reserve, this Boxster 5-speed offers an amazing opportunity for any Porsche enthusiast.

@Katman90 , this engine has Timing Chains, they do not need to be replaced. We did extensive servicing to this engine while it was out including a new Serpentine belt. . I will update the receipts to the listing. Please let me know if you have any questions.
@switchcars that is correct, PCAR, please correct the listing. Thanks.
The quick details box says "ruby red" - might want to update that to "Guards Red"
@RedBoxCar it says right in the listing the replacement motor has 67k miles, the ? I'd be asking is why the belts/more importantly timing belt aren't listed as replaced along w/the other service before install.
Is the replacement engine a factory crate engine, a rebuilt engine, or an engine lifted from a parts car that has been serviced? If the third option, how many miles on the engine before installed? Thank you for your time to answer.
