Up for auction is this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. Representing the first ever water-cooled 911 Turbo, the 996 Turbo model was debuted in 2000 and equipped with the venerable Mezger flat-six engine. This 2002 example highlights a desirable 6-speed manual transmission and an original build sheet totaling over $125k. Said to be up to date on all scheduled service while remaining in exceptional original condition, this Turbo is now being offered for auction showing just under 20k miles on the odometer.
The Seal Grey Metallic finish is noted to be in brilliant condition with paint protection film applied over the entire front clip. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings. The 996 Turbo model is characterized by its unique front valance, widened fenders, speed-activated rear spoiler and side air intakes. This 996 rides on factory lightweight hollow-spoke “Turbo Twist” wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin Pilot 3 tires from 2016.
Inside, the cabin has been generously appointed with full Graphite Grey leather. The interior is said to be pristine with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional. Exclusive factory options include heated front seats with lumbar support, the Design Package, a 3-spoke steering wheel in leather and Porsche crested headrests as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel column and dome lamp cover.
This 996 is equipped with a 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine which is rated at 415 HP. All four wheels are driven via 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.2 seconds and a top speed north of 185 MPH. This highly regarded GT1-derived power plant resists IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication. Braking is handled by robust factory Brembo calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors. This Turbo is said to have undergone all scheduled maintenance with an oil and filter change carried out very recently.
The sale of this 996 will include the original books and tools, a set of two keys and a collection of service records. Do not miss this chance to own a highly collectible Mezger-powered 911 Turbo.

I think the 996 turbo are one of the best 911 turbos that exists with the highly regarded Mezger engine which is known as the 'bulletproof' engine it's an engineering masterpiece. I noticed that due to the increasing demand, these 911 turbos are worth every penny and their market value have increased within the past few years. It's getting hard and harder to find clean and well kept 996 turbo these days. This is a gorgeous car, Good luck!
What a magnificent, well-presented example of this incredible speed machine! I'll be watching this beauty closely.

@drmoops @drmoops, the coolant lines are not pinned. The DME report is in the picture gallery. Thanks
Any DME info available? Any pinning or welding of the coolant lines? Thanks in advance!
Very nice 996TT. Love that it doesn't have supple leather which just never looks good.
I wonder what's a fair, non-insulting starting bid! Although there is a reserve, and the bid will not matter if it doesn't hit the reserve anyway.. Looks very nice, and clean.
T h a t is one very clean 996TT. And as a fellow 996TT owner I can say they are wonderful to drive. Good luck with the auction. This one will be well worth a big number.
@Peterjh66 I am a dealer. I recently bought it from the second owner. It has been garaged it's entire life. The condition is spectacular.
How long have you owned it and was the car garaged during the day?
