Finished in Seal Grey Metallic, this Turbo features are stated to be in great overall condition with minimal signs of wear (detailed images are available in the photo gallery).  The Carfax does note an accident on the front passenger side fender, though the seller states that there are no signs of any issues and the refinishing seems to have been done to a very high standard.  As a Turbo variant, this 996 features an iconic widebody along with a retractable rear wing and effective front and rear air vents in the bumpers.  This example rides on factory 18” Turbo Twist wheels that come wrapped in a set of brand-new General G Maxx tires.

Inside you will find a well-kept black full leather interior that features BOSE® Surround Sound and heated seating.  The seller notes the interior to be completely stock with all electronics in working condition.  With an original MSRP of over $116k, additional options include:

Originally implemented in the iconic 911 GT1 Le Mans cars, the Mezger engine has become known to many enthusiasts as the greatest water-cooled engine ever created by Porsche.  Additionally, the Mezger engine doesn’t suffer from IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication.  This 996's twin-turbo engine sends approximately 415 HP to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.  The Carfax report will show that this example has always been properly maintained with a recent service carried out. This service included the replacement of all fluids and filters, the installation of new control arms, and a new K&N air filter.  It is said to be in excellent running condition.

The sale will include two keys, books, records, tools, spare tire, and a Carfax report.

@twa8000 @danesta Sorry no photos on hand. No body rust all though, some screws and bolt heads have surface rust which is always the first parts to get it. Other than that pretty nice condition for being on the east coast for a portion of it's life.

@57nate No history of coolant lines being pinned, also no history on Clutch or RMS but no leaks coming from RMS were seen when I had it on a lift. CV joints seem fine and in tact, and No leaks to speak of. Shifts just fine as well, No PPI has been done outside of my own in house inspection.

Have the coolant lines been pinned? Have the clutch and RMS been replaced? Does this car have the 2nd gear popout? Has a PPI been performed? Any leaks from the differentials? Are the cv joints torn?

@70gt500 It does come up and down on the freeway but the driver side cylinder looks to be leaking. Also throwing the error code on the dash which clears with each new start up.

Are there any issues with the rear spoiler hydraulics? Leaks, actuates properly....?

  • Areli1 (seller) 4 years, 6 monthsago

@Landscraper to be honest I'm not sure why the gap is bigger on one side. But I can remove the headlamp and take a look down behind the bumper cover to make sure something wasn't over looked during the front end repair. If needed I can have one of my repair guys remove the bumper cover to get a closer look. I'll keep you posted if that is OK.

Gap on the passenger headlight/bumper looks off. This appears to be the area involved in the previous accident. Have you attempted to correct this or had a specialist take a look?
