This 2002 Porsche 996 Cabriolet comes finished in Black over Graphite Grey leather upholstery and pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspirated flat-six engine. It features optional supple leather seats, the Advanced Technic Package, Heated Front Seats Package, flared rocker panels, 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels, and more. Previously listed on PCARMARKET and reportedly fitted with an upgraded IMS bearing, clutch, and flywheel under previous ownership, it is now being offered for auction at no reserve by its seller out of Texas while showing approximately 78k miles on the odometer.
This 996 comes finished in Black with a matching convertible soft top and features optional GT3-style flared rocker panels, 18” light-alloy Carrera wheels with colored Porsche center crests, and the Advanced Technic Package which adds Bi-Xenon headlights with washers. It rides on Continental ControlContact Sport SRS tires. The seller notes some fading and paint imperfections on the hood & front bumper, and a new windshield has been fitted. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage to the rear end in August 2003.
The cabin is appointed with Graphite Grey leather upholstery including supple leather seats, black floor mats with Porsche lettering, and an aluminum/leather shifter & brake handle. The optional Heated Front Seats Package is also equipped as well as the Advanced Technic Package which adds a wind deflector, a 6-disc CD changer, and the Bose sound system. The seller reports slight sun fading on the passenger seat and a small tear on the driver’s seat. All gauges and accessories are reported to be working properly.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine provides up to 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller states an upgraded IMS bearing, clutch, and flywheel were fitted by a previous owner, and 20k-mile interval services were carried out by an authorized Porsche dealer during their ownership. The CARFAX report shows a total of 18 service history entries dating back to September 2003.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for viewing my auction. I have owned this car since 2019 and have never had any problems with it. It’s been a great car to drive, and I’ve enjoyed it. I kept up with all maintenance at Porsche SLC, the prior owner did update IMS/clutch/flywheel.”

@Kelbycc Where at?
Maybe you made a mistake but there are no photos uploaded that say anything about the IMS being done.

@Kelbycc are you planning on posting a photo or invoice? I'd recommend it. The documentation matters.
@dkohrs yes, I have invoices for the parts, as well as full photo documentation of the work.
Is there any actual documentation on the IMS, clutch, and flywheel?
Owner here-
Wanted to acknowledge the second auction here, as well as the rear end damage reported.
I haven't sold a car this way before, and was skeptical to do so without a reserve. Please note that this is a serious sale.
As for the rear damage, it was before I owned it and I never would have guessed that it had been damaged. I bought it with 49,500 miles and have driven it without any issues since.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about it, I am here to help
