We are pleased to offer this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe finished in Black over a full black leather interior. The flagship model of the 996 generation, the Turbo is equipped with a race-derived Mezger engine sending up to 420 HP to all four wheels. This 2002 example was optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, the Design Package (P71), painted 18” wheels, Sport Seats with safety belts in Speed Yellow, crested headrests, and deviated yellow stitching throughout the cabin. Cared for by its third and current owner since 2018, this Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Florida showing less than 18k miles on the odometer.
This 996 comes finished in Black with factory exclusive painted rims and center caps to match. The 18” Turbo wheels are contrasted by custom, yellow-painted brake calipers and come dressed in a set of Pirelli tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Turbo sports a black full leather interior with optional Sport Seats, crested headrests, safety belts in Speed Yellow, and deviated yellow stitching on seats, dashboard, and door panels. The optional Design Package (P71) adds an aluminum inlay for the shift knob, aluminum-look instrument surround, and door entry guards in stainless steel. The Turbo also comes standard with automatic climate control, an Alcantara headliner, and a Bose sound system. The seller notes the ABS error light is present and likely caused by a faulty sensor. All other gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional.
Derived from the 911 GT1 Le Mans race car, the 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine delivers up to 420 HP to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is accomplished in approximately 4 seconds with a top speed of nearly 190 MPH. The brake system includes fixes 4-piston aluminum monobloc calipers paired with ventilated and cross-drilled 330mm discs. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with ABS 5.7, ASR, and ABD also came standard on the Turbo.
This sale will include a clean title. One of the most increasingly sought-after Porsches on the market, this 996 Turbo makes an excellent choice with its unique equipment, low mileage, and 6-speed manual transmission.

@gpmotors it’s a sticker. Back in 2002/33 it was a thing. Yes it can be taken off.
what is the trim on the interior made out of? Can it be put back to stock?
@gpmotors I do not. I am sure you can find a set on eBay. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck bidding

What lowering suspension system is on the front? thanks for vid
Bid in the amount of $39,000
@Littlehandegan sorry I missed your other question. Brake fluids were changed around 12,000 miles and I changed the oil about three months ago. I don’t think the differential fluid has been changed yet to the best of my knowledge.
Bid in the amount of $20,500
@Mercyhealth thank you. More pictures will be uploaded. Appreciate the feedback.
@Littlehandegan a blend from what I understood.
@rklambott I can understand that you don’t have any maintenance records from the first 2 owners. CARFAXs can be very incomplete. You have owned the car for 3 plus years. What maintenance have you performed? And do you have the receipts?
There is a strong demand for low miled 996 turbos now. From current auctions this is an under statement at the least. Do yourself and the rest of 996 turbo owners a favor. Get more photos including under carriage shots. And maybe change the oil at least once before sale.
Thanks
So when was the last service performed and what was done?
Also as far as the repainted panels go from the tire blowout was it just the 1/4 or did the blend door etc?
Sorry for asking a million questions just trying to get a more info
Have differentials, brake fluids etc been done?
Thanksn
@Littlehandegan hi, good morning. Video will be uploaded shortly and better HD quality pictures. Yes, tires are all original except the one in the right rear. I barely drove the car and I do not really have any service records. The paint is all original to the best of my knowledge, the previous owner did mention he had the driver side quarter panel slightly fixed/buffed due to a tire blowout. I can’t even tell.. looks amazing. The ABS lights I believe is a sensor. I have not have it checked. Also, a DME rev report will be uploaded shortly as well as fault codes (no fault codes). There is a small ding on the driver side fender which can easily get fixed by painless dent repair and the bumper has slight chips on the front Let me know if you have any other questions.
Few questions:
Can you provide a walk around video in the sun?
What service records do you have?
Did Porsche or a service provider diagnose the ABS issues its having or just a guess? Documentation?
Is paint all original?
Front bumper shows some chips/dings can you show those in the sun?
How old are the tires?

@bemk Thank you for your interest. I have owned the car for three years and have not done any modifications whatsoever. Luckily in FL we do not have to worry about these things. You are welcome to have it inspected to make certain. The car runs amazing. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Are you aware of any modifications to the ECU or emissions system (catalytic converters exhaust system) that would prevent it from passing CA smog/emissions?
@JPD Will do. Will try to have by Saturday uploaded. Thank you for asking.
@rklambott Please do, thx
@JPD I can get one and upload if it helps and the coolant lines are not pinned or welded. Let me known if any other questions. Thanks for your interest.
