Available for auction is this 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Black leather interior. Equipped with a 3.6L flat-six engine driving the rear wheel through a 6-speed manual transmission, this Carrera came optioned with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), 18” Carrera wheels, and the Power Seat and Advanced Technic Packages. Additionally, it is reported to have received a new clutch and an upgraded IMS bearing in 2019. This 996 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California, showing approximately 89k miles on the odometer.
The 2002 model year saw a facelift for the Carrera model including redesigned headlights derived from the 911 Turbo. This example is finished in Seal Grey Metallic and was reportedly refinished under previous ownership. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The Advanced Technic Package includes Bi-Xenon headlights with headlights washers, and it rides on a set of 18” light-alloy Carrera wheels dressed in Michelin tires.
The Black leather interior comes fitted with optional power-operated seats as well as a Bose sound system and a 6-disc CD changer as part of the Advanced Technic Package. The cabin is reported to show minimal wear, and the seller confirms that all gauges, lights, and features remain functional.
For the 2002 model year, the 996 was given a larger displacement 3.6 L flat-six engine, which is rated at 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission which allows this Carrera to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds. The CARFAX highlights nine service history records dating back as far as 2003, and the seller notes that in 2019 a new clutch was installed along with an upgraded IMS bearing.
This sale will be accompanied by the original owner's manuals, toolkit, spare tire, service records, and a clean title. This 6-speed 996 is ready to be enjoyed, do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity.

Pretty strong money for a repainted and higher mileage 996. PCarMarket should have done a better job of having the owner provide photos of the underside of the vehicle, service history documentation, correct mileage, and correct VIN. Too many red flags for me to bid with confidence. Congrats to the seller and new owner, cheers!

Where in LA is the car located?
Bid in the amount of $15,000
@Bahnburner Yes there are records of the new clutch in 2019. And if you check the photos there’s a photo of the IMS bearing sticker. And for California buys upon a purchase a smog test will be completed
Are there any records for the clutch and IMS work?
What service records are available?
Will the seller provide a valid smog cert for California buyers?
