For the 2002 model year, the Porsche 911 Carrera model range underwent a significant update, including revised styling, new headlights, and a larger 3.6-liter flat-six engine. This Porsche 996.2 Carrera Cabriolet was designated as a 2002 Facelift launch model, finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Black partial leather interior, equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. It features optional Porsche Stability management, the Technic Package, Heated Front Seats Package, 18” light alloy Carrera wheels, and an updated Porsche Classic (PCCM+) head unit. Showing approximately 57k miles on the odometer, this Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
The exterior is finished in Seal Grey Metallic with a power-operated black convertible top. Equipment includes Litronic xenon headlights as part of the optional Technic Package, headlamp washers, fog lights, heated power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, polished dual exhaust tips, and 18” light alloy Carrera wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 tires. The seller notes the convertible top hydraulics were recently replaced, along with two associated microswitches. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black partial leather interior includes optional heated and power-adjustable front seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and an updated Porsche Classic (PCCM+) infotainment system with navigation. The driver is also provided with power windows, a remote central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, a CD storage compartment, and an onboard computer.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter M96 flat-six engine rated at 320 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle, and stopping power is provided by fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled discs at each corner. The front brake pads and rotors were replaced in October 2023, the serpentine belt and transaxle fluid were changed in August 2024, a new idler pulley was installed in May 2025, and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

Welcome to the auction of our 996.2 cabriolet in Seal Grey
This is such a handsome spec with very understated and elegant color combination. This 996 has only 57k miles and has babied over the last 20+ years.
The previous owner upgraded the infotainment system to the Porsche Classic Communation Management Plus, which is a very sought after head unit designed by Porsche to bring the “older” cars into the modern era while keeping the old school aesthetic. Retail price is $2k and factor in another $3k for install
We also serviced the top hydraulics and replaced sensors for the soft top. You can feel confident with many more years of seamless operation.
The car drives really well and is solid. It engages very linear in all the gears and has a nice engagement with the clutch
Rocker panel has been repaired
Will upload pics on Tuesday when we are back at the shop
Has the crushed rocker been repaired?
