This 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Boxster Red Special leather interior. It was also generously optioned with 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels, the Advanced Technic Package, Power Seat Package, a Tiptronic S transmission, and more. Garage-stored by its seller, this example is now being offered for auction out of South Carolina while showing just under 56k miles on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Seal Grey Metallic with a black convertible soft top. It rides on optional 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels with colored Porsche-crested wheel caps and Continental Contact Sport tires from 2019. The Advanced Technic Package adds Bi-Xenon headlights and headlight washers. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is adorned with Boxster Red Special leather upholstery with matching carpets. Additional options include exclusive Black floor mats with Porsche lettering, the Power Seat Package, and the Advanced Technic Package which adds a wind deflector, a 6-disc CD changer, and the Bose sound system. The seller adds that a new stereo with Bluetooth connectivity has been fitted and the inoperable original head unit will accompany the sale.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine rated at 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-Speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds. The seller states there are no outstanding maintenance items and some service records will accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title and a window sticker.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for your interest in this vehicle. this car looks and runs like new. Totally stock vehicle without blemishes. Fresh oil change and exterior detail. Tires were updated 4 years ago but both tread wear and appearance are as new due to extremely low mileage.”

@rpaolini56 thanks for your comment. No the ims and rms are original. Low mileage vehicle and the oil is particulate free every time it’s changes. Yes it is a rear wheel drive. Thanks!

I have not had any service performed other than my oil change. The water pump, nor anything else mechanical has shown any sign of problems. Recently drove to Charleston for the weekend, water temp excellent, oil pressure great. This vehicle has no oil leaks. It sits in my garage under cover and there has never been ANY oil on the smooth concrete. I shared these records since they were the only ones I got when purchased. The car does not have bent rims, if it ever did, it was corrected without service record. Paint is all original and impeccable. I’m happy to get the date code on tires but out of the country at the moment. Vehicle will come with a box of Porsche books, cover, master mechanic manual and new cover. Thanks for the interest. Hope this helps.
Hi, very nice looking cab.
Have the two bent rear rims and the oil leak, noted on the 6/2019 invoice, been corrected? Has the water pump been replaced? What are the date codes of the "customer supplied" tires (indicated replaced on the 6/2019 invoice). Have any oil analysis been done? All original paint? Any other documentation convey with car? Thanks.

@srodgrg thanks for the interest! IMS is original, some service records from past couple years I will post, oil changed 2 weeks ago, no wind blocker, just a clean low mileage vehicle. Thanks again!
Nice car!
In anticipation, the usual questions:
IMS Bearing?
water pump and alternator?
Any service records and history to post?
Last service for oil and trans fluids?
Wind blocker for top down driving?
Thanks!
@urfealex thanks so much for the compliment! I understand sometimes pictures can be deceiving, however, the build sheet very clearly states “boxster red special leather”. Thanks again.
Very nice color combination. I think, however, the interior color looks like Terracotta. Perhaps it is just the photo exposure. Clarify, please. GLWTA
Welcome to the auction! Please let me know if there are any questions. Good Luck bidding!
