Equipped with a 3.6-liter flat-six engine driving all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, this 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S comes finished in Black over matching full leather upholstery. It was optioned with the Advanced Technic Package, Heated Front Seats Package, and colored Porsche-crested wheel caps. This example was further upgraded with a Porsche Classic Communication Management system and has been fortified with a new clutch and an LN Engineering IMS retrofit. Recently serviced, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado with approximately 43k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a standard 996 Carrera, the 4S sports wider fenders, Turbo-style bumpers, red brake calipers, and a unique reflector band spanning between the taillights. This Coupe is finished in Black and rides on factory 18” 911 Turbo wheels with optional colored Porsche crest center caps. A set of Pirelli P Zero tires was mounted approximately 5k miles ago. The seller has noted slight surface scratches and some paint touch-ups on the front bumper and hood to address minor chips. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is situated within a Black full leather interior. Optional equipment includes the Heated Front Seats Package and the Advanced Technic Package, which adds a Bose sound system, Bi-Xenon headlights, and a 6-disc CD changer. The seller adds that an OEM Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay has been fitted.
For the 2002 model year, the 996 was given a larger displacement 3.6-liter flat-six engine, which is rated at 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller adds that service in August 2023 (41,403 miles) at Vegas Auto Gallery included the installation of a new clutch, battery, spark plugs, hood shocks, and a rear window regulator, along with an oil & filter change. Shortly after, service was performed in October 2023 (42,315 miles) at Simply Euro Caste Pines including the installation of an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit and front left & right CV boots, the replacement of the air/oil separator, a brake fluid flush and service, and an oil & filter change. The CARFAX report shows a total of 34 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “I have made a substantial investment in the 911, and it runs like a dream. I would not be parting with it if not for the difficulty I experience using the clutch with my left leg.”

@911Z I somehow missed the contact seller button. Doing it the right way now, thanks :)
Black C4S are beautiful and this one is definitely very clean!! The rear light end to end on black really makes it look pop. Loving it.
I understand that some ppl that are close might want to see the car in person but coordinating the plan in the comments section might not be the best place, as bidders want to only read about the car. (Hint: theres a contact seller button to take things offline :) )
@rmarchant and Thursday works for me. Can't do tomorrow
@rmarchant Ok, how do you think we could arrange it? I see if I share contact information I'll get my account suspended.
Tomorrow or Thursday. Out of town T, W.
Hi! I'm located about 8 miles from you in Denver. I would love to come see the car. When might you be free?
If you watch the video you will see the sunroof. Thanks
Yes there is. Tx
Is there a sunroof?
@rmarchant Thank you
Actually, no. I think the photos in the direct sunlight exaggerate stone chips. I will upload an additional video and pictures.
Bid in the amount of $2,996
The hood/front end pictures show quite a bit of stone chips. Is it the pictures or would you agree. Thanks
@Resoom The correct CARFAX has been added to the listing page.
Hello to all in the marketplace. A little more about this vehicle... I had been searching for a black-on-black C4S for about a year with a manual gearbox. I was very particular about my search (history, condition, etc..). I finally found this one in an auto gallery in Nevada and shipped it to Colorado. I then had it inspected by a certified Porsche mechanic where I performed an IMS bearing retrofit, replaced front left & right CV boots, replaced the air/oil separator, performed a brake fluid flush and service, and an oil & filter change. This vehicle has had over 12 K invested over the past 7 months. She runs like a dream. Only reason for selling is I've realized that I find an automatic transmission a little easier for me to drive. I wish I was 25 years old again... Hope she finds a good home.
I just saw the uploaded Carfax. This is incorrect. I will contact PCARmarket team and ask to update with the correct one. tx
VIN is WP0AA299X2S622384
Happy to add pics of Carfax if requested.
