In 2002, the Porsche 996 underwent a significant update including new headlamps borrowed from the 911 Turbo along with a larger 3.6-liter flat-six engine. Outfitted with an OEM GT3-style Aerokit, this 6-speed Carrera Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black interior and features optional supple leather seats, the Advanced Technic Package, and 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels. The car was treated to major service and IMS bearing replacement in 2021 and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing just over 46k miles on the odometer.
This Arctic Silver Metallic Coupe is said to have been fitted with an OEM exterior Aerokit under previous ownership including a GT3-style front bumper, side skirts, and rear wing. Red-painted brake calipers are mounted behind optional 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels dressed in Continental tires. The seller notes the rear quarter panels have been refinished and some touched-up chips are present on the front bumper as well as some yellowing paint protection film. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is appointed with optional heated supple leather seats and the Advanced Technic package which adds a Bose sound system, a 6-disc CD changer, and bi-xenon headlights with washers. The seller notes an aftermarket short-throw shifter has been installed.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Optional Porsche Stability Management (PSM) is equipped from the factory and an IMS bearing replacement is said to have been completed in 2021 at 39.7k miles along with the replacement of the rear main seal and spark plugs. An oil change and brake fluid flush were also completed more recently upon the seller’s acquisition.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "This 996 is in great condition and drives amazingly. The rare and hard to find GT3 Aero absolutely transforms the look of the car. Beautiful 911 that is serviced and ready to drive. "

@spleev The Aerokit is not on the factory build sheet. It was likely dealer installed but we do not have any records to show that.
Was this factory aerokit, dealer installed new or a later addition?
Final day of the auction. I will be with the car if there are any last minute questions.

I have uploaded underside photos along with a few other items.
Pictures of the part numbers showing the Aero Kit is factory Porsche parts. The front bumper is part number 996.505.983.02 and the rear decklid is 996.512.901.02.
Also uploaded a DME report. There are zero Range 2 ignitions and the last Range 1 Ignition was 189 operating hours ago.

@kjeldh Yup! I’ll be available tomorrow and Tuesday before the auction ends.
Hi
Is there anyway I can see the 911 - I live in Palm Coast
@devildog Yes, I’ll get some up in the next few days. The gentleman we purchased the car from was military and was stationed in Virginia. If you look at the timeline of the services on Carfax I don’t believe the car ever made it out to Alaska and stayed in Virginia.
Considering the vehicle has Alaska listed on te registration, can you provide some undercarriage photos.

Driving video with cold start and walk around is up. Also added service records and pictures of the books. If anything else is needed please let me know!

@NewWorldMatt I submitted the service records and they should be uploaded soon. We do not have any records of the clutch being replaced.
@RallyBird
Seller, do we know if the clutch was done during the IMS bearing replacement?
We're pleased to share this very nice example of a 996. Finding one with the GT3 Aero Kit is definitely difficult and it gives the car an incredible look compared to a standard car. I will be available to answer any questions through the auction. Don't hesitate to reach out!
