We are pleased to present this 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet 6-speed finished in Speed Yellow over a black interior with painted hardback leather Sport Seats. Sold at an original sticker price of over $89k from a dealership in California, this 2002 example showcases exclusive options including contrasting Speed Yellow interior accents, flared rocker panels, and the Advanced Technic Package. This Cabriolet has been meticulously cared for throughout its life with an IMS bearing upgrade recently carried out at a cost of over $3k. Accompanied by a complete collection of records from new, this 996 is now being offered by its 2nd owner out of Texas while showing just over 25k miles on the odometer.
The eye-catching Speed Yellow finish is said to be in excellent condition with a recent paint correction and G-Techniq ceramic coating treatment. Clear paint protection film has also been applied over the entire front end including the mirror covers. Carfax shows minor damage to the rear end in 2003 which is said to have been a cosmetic imperfection addressed at the dealership when new. Noteworthy details on this example include window tint, optional flared rocker panels, and factory 18” light alloy Carrera wheels that come dressed in older but healthy Continental Extreme Contact tires.

The rear main seal is reported to have been replaced at the selling dealership under warranty when new, and the IMS bearing was upgraded earlier in 2020 (invoice provided in the photo gallery). Complete service records are available dating back to the original purchase and this 996 is reported to be in exceptional driving condition with a new battery recently installed.

@Cristma in pictures 47, and 68 you can see the lines in the rear window, and the heating control button for the glass heated rear window. I never went to the dealer to get a DME report as this vehicle has never been tracked, or used in that way as I know the previous owners.

@Vetman001 it has had a full paint correction by Ten Flat detailing here in Dallas. The only issue with the paint is road chips from small rocks over the years in the front bumper, and two on the hood. They have been corrected, but if someone wanted it “perfect” they would respray the front bumper. I like it more as a survivor, and have locked it in with paint protection film and Gtechniq 5 year ceramic coating. If you want any specific pictures, let me know.
