Produced from 1998 to 2006, the second-generation (C215) Mercedes-Benz CL-class was offered in a range of trim levels. This 2002 CL55 AMG example features a 5.4-liter V8 mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Capri Blue Metallic over a beige leather interior. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, 18” multi-spoke wheels, a sunroof, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, COMAND infotainment with navigation, a Bose sound system, and more. This CL55 AMG is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania showing approximately 80k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Capri Blue Metallic (359), the CL55 features a pillarless coupe design with model-specific lower bodywork. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-folding and heated mirrors, 18” multi-spoke wheels wrapped in Hankook Kinergy GT tires, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller reports some exterior blemishes, and the CARFAX report lists damage occurring in June 2018. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings.
The cabin is upholstered in beige leather with wood trim accenting the center stack, steering wheel, and door panels. Equipment includes a leather and wood-trimmed four-spoke steering wheel, heated and ventilated multi-contour AMG front sport seats with memory, and a massaging function. Amenities include a power rear window sunshade, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. A Mercedes-branded Motorola cellular telephone is included and mounted within the center console. The seller notes the front passenger seat was repaired in preparation for the sale, along with refinishing of the steering wheel. It is also noted that the airbag light is illuminated.
Powered by an AMG-built 5.4-liter SOHC 24-valve M113 V8 engine, the CL55 sends up to 355 HP and 391 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels by way of a 5-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission with Touch Shift. Standard equipment includes Active Body Control (ABC) suspension, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), while stopping power is handled by AMG-branded calipers with cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller notes that an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale, along with the replacement of the rear bushings.
This sale will include the owner’s manual, some documentation, a Mercedes-branded Motorola cellular telephone, and a clean title.

@naccer - thanks for the clairification, I wasn't aware of any headbolt issues either on these cars.

Bid in the amount of $2,600
@manuals4ever - Sorry, I forgot to answer one of your questions about the airbag light.
Unfortunately we had taken the car to two different European shops one being a Mercedes specialist. Neither one had the diagnostic tools to fix the airbag light, was told by my shops at the car was just too old and they didn't have the right diagnostic equipment. It really doesn't affect the drivability of the car, we didn't worry about it after taking it to two different shops .
Hopefully that answers your question
Thanks again,

@manuals4ever - we had the car completely gone over by a Mercedes-Benz specialist. I not aware of any type of head bolt issues.
This car runs really strong and everything works. As you can see in the video posted above the air conditioning is ice cold. We also had a inspected so the car will come with a brand new PA state inspection and emissions. It also has a fresh Mobil 1 synthetic oil change.
If you have any other questions, please let us know??
Thanks

Did this have the head bolts addressed?
Does everything work correctly?
Any idea what the repair cost would be for the airbag?
