An evolution of the 550 Maranello, the Ferrari 575M was launched in 2002 featuring updated styling, larger brakes, adaptive suspension, and a more powerful 5.7-liter V12 engine. This Ferrari 575M is one of 2,056 examples produced in total between 2002 and 2006. It comes finished in Blu Tour de France over a Cuoio leather interior and underwent a 6-speed manual transmission conversion by the specialists at EAG in late 2022 along with other routine services including replacements of the timing and accessory belts. Showcasing a sought-after color combination and a gated 6-speed manual gearbox, this Ferrari 575M is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing approximately 12k miles on the odometer.

Compared to its predecessor the 550 Maranello, the 575M was updated with a revised headlight design, reshaped front air intakes, and a more pronounced front grille. It shared much of the 550’s original Pininfarina-designed bodywork which includes a distinctive hood scoop, front fender vents, rear fender air intakes, quad exhaust tips, and a trunk lid with an integrated spoiler. This 2002 example is finished in the historic Ferrari color of Blu Tour de France and features Scuderia front fender shields, silver brake calipers, and factory 18” five-spoke alloy wheels in silver. The car rides on a set of Michelin tires and the seller describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition apart from some minor chips on the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with traditional beige Cuoio leather upholstery contrasted by blue seat piping and a blue leather dashboard. A blue leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an instrument cluster featuring a 10k-rpm tachometer and a 220-mph speedometer. Accessories include power-adjustable sport seats, a gated shifter with a polished aluminum gear lever, a leather rear parcel shelf with luggage straps, drilled aluminum pedals, a climate control system, and a sound system. The seller notes the common sticky interior parts have been replaced and slight leather separation is present on the dashboard airbag cover. The seller adds that EAG can repair any interior leather issues upon the next owner’s inquiry.

The Ferrari 575M is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter F133E V12 engine featuring a light alloy engine block and heads, twin overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, dry sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management. Up to 508 HP and 434 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The 575M’s chassis incorporates larger brakes than its predecessor as well as an adaptive Skyhook suspension system with active dampers. The transmission was converted to manual operation from an original F1 automated manual gearbox by EAG in late 2022. Services were also performed at this time including replacements of the timing and accessory belts, tensioners, and air filters. Additionally, the EAG transmission conversion is supported by a 2-year parts and labor warranty.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a car cover, a battery charger, sales literature, some documentation, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “EAG 6-Speed Manual Conversion: This vehicle underwent a state-of-the-art conversion using Factory-Like and Factory-Style hard linkage components by EAG, ensuring smooth transitions and an authentic driving experience. Comprehensive Service History: All maintenance tasks have been diligently performed. This includes fresh fluids, new filters, timing belts and pulleys replacement, brake caliper servicing, and gearbox fluid replacement. Warranty: Benefit from peace of mind with a 2-year parts and labor warranty from EAG on the conversion. Performance: This Ferrari comes with improved software calibration that rejuvenates its performance. It’s not just about driving; it's about the exhilarating joy this car offers with every turn of the key. This 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello is a sight to behold. @Medlaw,

    Let me clarify the context of my earlier statement to alleviate any confusion.

    The reply you're referring to was part of a response to @Kristiantower's specific inquiry about the cost and timeframe for converting a Ferrari 575. That discussion was about the general process and costs associated with converting and servicing a typical 575, not about the specific car we have on auction today.

    To address your query directly: Yes, the 575 being auctioned today comes with a complete service history. Furthermore, during the conversion process handled by us, this car received extensive servicing. This included the installation of a new clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate, as well as the replacement of all necessary fluids and filters. We've ensured that every aspect of this car is in top-notch condition.

    In essence, the 575 you see in today's auction is a 'Turn Key' vehicle. All services are up-to-date, and it's ready to deliver an exhilarating driving experience to its new owner. The only thing it needs is for someone passionate about driving to start putting miles on it.

    I hope this addresses your concerns and gives you confidence in the quality and readiness of this Ferrari 575. Should you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. Your confidence and satisfaction are paramount to us.

    I've owned five Ferraris and the 2000 550 that I had for eight years was one of the very best and most enjoyable. They are truly amazing cars! Good luck to the seller and to the lucky buyer!

    @Seller
    Do you have any service records? If not, do you have any idea what maintenance is overdue or that it needs? Your disclaimer of:

    "It's important to consider that many older models like the 575 often require additional servicing and reconditioning. These services can add anywhere from $20,000 to $40,000 or more to the total cost, depending on the car's condition and the extent of the required work."

    makes me nervous.

    Quick question - on the instrumental panel, I believe the little screen shows what gear you're in with F1 cars. What does this show, if any, with the manual conversion? Does it show the gear you're in? Thank you.

  • EAGUSA (seller) 6 months, 4 weeksago

    @Kristiantower,

    Thank you for your kind words. The cost for converting a Ferrari 575 is $45,000, which includes a thorough inspection and the conversion process itself. However, please note that this does not include the shipping cost of the vehicle to our facility, which can vary depending on your location.

    It's important to consider that many older models like the 575 often require additional servicing and reconditioning. These services can add anywhere from $20,000 to $40,000 or more to the total cost, depending on the car's condition and the extent of the required work.

    For example, if you acquire a low-mileage 575 for around $140,000 to $160,000, the total investment after a complete conversion, overhaul, and service – including transport, taxes, and fees – could range between $220,000 and $250,000 or more.

    One common misconception is that the car's purchase price plus the cost of conversion equals the final investment. However, this is not always the case. The condition of the car plays a significant role in determining the final cost and the length of time required for the conversion and additional services. Depending on these factors, the work can take anywhere from 4-5 weeks to several months, and this timeframe may also be affected by the availability of service parts from Ferrari.

    I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    @EAGUSA , how much does it cost and the timeframe to convert 1 of these? I think you do a great job.

  • EAGUSA (seller) 6 months, 4 weeksago

    @henryr

    Yes, the vehicle includes the red master key fob, along with a spare set and both key fobs. Regarding your queries:

    Motor Mounts and Plenum Hoses: These components have been thoroughly inspected and are in excellent condition. Any necessary maintenance or replacements have been performed to ensure the car's mechanical integrity. Some of these components have been replaced during previous ownership and are marked on the service history.

    Transmission: The car retains its original factory transmission. The 575M originally comes with a roboticized automated manual gearbox. During our manual conversion process, we removed all the hydraulic and electronic components of the F1 system. These parts have been carefully preserved, boxed, and are included in the sale.

    Suspension and Handling: The springs and sway bar on this 575M are the original factory-installed components. We've converted numerous 575s, and this particular vehicle stands out for its solid and smooth driving experience, free from any undue bounciness.
