The Ferrari 360 Spider debuted at the 2000 Geneva Auto Show, succeeding the F355 with a lighter, stronger aluminum space-frame chassis by Alcoa, sleeker body lines, an intuitive power convertible top, electronically controlled dampers, and a 3.6-liter V8 engine producing nearly 400 HP. This 2002 example comes finished in silver and wears a pearl white metallic vinyl wrap. It also features a 6-speed F1 automated manual transmission, yellow brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, a Challenge-style rear grille, a Capristo exhaust, black leather interior upholstery, power seats, and more. Showing less than 38k miles on the odometer, this 360 Spider is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The lightweight, Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork comes finished in silver and adorned with a pearl white metallic vinyl wrap contrasted with black and yellow race-inspired stripes. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, Scuderia fender shields, carbon fiber-look mirrors, yellow brake calipers, black side air intake inserts, and a Challenge-style rear grille. It rides on five-spoke 18” alloy wheels with yellow Ferrari-branded center caps and mismatched tires. The convertible top is said to only open ¾ of the way. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior features black leather upholstery with carbon fiber accents on the steering wheel, center console, and door panels. Highlights include power-adjustable seats with contrast piping, Cavallino-embossed headrests, grey carpets, leather-wrapped roll bars, and a yellow 12 o'clock steering wheel marker. An aftermarket digital infotainment system and sound system have also been installed. The seller mentions minor wear on the driver's seat bolster and slight leather lifting at the ends of the dashboard, although there are no sticky buttons.
Under the transparent polycarbonate engine cover sits a mid-mounted 3.6-liter DOHC V8 with dry-sump lubrication, producing 396 HP and 276 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 6-speed F1 automated manual gearbox, offering both automatic and manual shifts through steering column-mounted paddles. A limited-slip differential comes standard. The seller adds that a Capristo exhaust has been fitted, and a recent F1 pump service, along with the replacement of seals and gaskets, has been completed. A minor exhaust leak is noticeable upon cold-starting the vehicle.
This sale will include a clean title, two keys, two immobilizer remotes, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and sales literature.
