Sold through BMW dealer accessory catalogs under the part number 86119410982 from 1998 until 2003, the Multi-Trailer was offered as BMW’s official trailer featuring a sleek OEM design, a modular attachment system, and an advanced independent suspension. This 2002 model is outfitted with an optional motorcycle module, trailer supports, and a rear loading ramp. A rare and highly collectible BMW accessory, this Multi-Trailer is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of Kansas.
The Multi-Trailer was manufactured by Westfalia and incorporates taillights inspired by BMW's contemporary automobiles. This example is finished in Alpine White and comes equipped with the optional motorcycle carrier module, BMW part number 86229410983, which includes two red wheel chocks as well as a rear loading ramp, part number 86309410984. It also features optional trailer supports, part number 86309415383, which could be mounted directly to the rear. The seller indicates the metal rail bumpers and motorcycle wheel chocks have been professionally powder coated in red and blue BMW “M” colors. Minimal cosmetic imperfections are noted on one of the fenders.
The Multi-Trailer features an advanced suspension with coil springs, independent dampers, and a semi-trailing arm setup which provides a smooth ride behind the towing vehicle. It weighs in at approximately 518 lbs. and has a maximum load capacity of 1,686 lbs. This example rides on 15” steel wheels with E46 3-Series hubcaps. The trailer’s 5x120mm wheel bolt pattern also allows the fitment of most other OEM BMW wheels to match the towing vehicle.
This Multi-Trailer is offered with a bill of sale.
The seller would like you to know: “I am the second owner and have owned this for 12 years, using it very little and storing it indoors. This is a super rare and unique trailer that functions awesomely. See the photos!”

It is an impressively overengineered trailer no doubt. Also, I DO have the title to this trailer although it is still in the name of the person I bought it from as Kansas doesn't require plates or titles on trailers of this size. It could easily be titled in my name if that makes a difference to anybody.
Super impressive trailer! Looks like the Germans over engineered this one!
@tegwj That's too bad because that would be cool!

@Willyz If I could lift it up and onto, the footprint of the Isetta would fit. Or if the ramp was wider, I could back it on. But tragically the front track is just too wide.

The ramp folds lengthwise and slides into the storage compartment made for it. See photos of the rear of the trailer.
Also, tegwj, are you SURE an Isetta wouldn't fit?? lol
Where does the ramp store?
This would be almost ideal for hauling an Isetta. Unfortunately the ramp isn’t quite wide enough for the front track even if you tried to reverse it on.
