Renowned as one of the greatest sports sedans ever produced, the BMW E39 M5 highlights a naturally aspirated S62 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This 2002 example comes finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Black Nappa leather and equips the Heritage Leather Package. Showing approximately 180k kilometers or 112k miles, this M5 is now being offered for auction by its seller once again on PCARMARKET.
This M5 is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic and rides on 18” Style 65 wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires from 2019. Compared to a standard E39 5-Series, the M5 features Shadowline trim, revised bumpers and side skirts, a trunk lid spoiler, aerodynamic mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. Additional features include xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, and M5 badging on the trunk lid and side moldings. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black Nappa leather upholstery as part of the Heritage Leather Package along with fine wood trim and an Anthracite headliner. Interior details include an M-branded gear shift lever, an M Sport multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel, and M5-badged door sills. Amenities include an electric sunroof, power-adjustable and heated seats with memory, and automatic climate control. The seller notes some pixelation within the central display screen.
The E39 M5 equips a 4.9-liter S62 V8 engine with double-VANOS variable valve timing, individual throttle bodies, hollow camshafts, and a quasi-dry-sump lubrication system. The S62 produces up to 394 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque, allowing the M5 to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 4.8 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 155 MPH. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag 420G 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported.
This sale will include a Canadian registration.
The seller would like you to know: “This M5 is in pristine condition.”

Will just go to dealtank but I just bought a Euro E36 M3 from Ontario. I got 1) all the paperwork done 2) cleared customs 3) Import fees paid and 4) shipped across country from Ontario all the way to Arizona for $4,800 all in and the process couldn't have been easier. TFX International

This is unfortunate. Hard to run a competitive auction process w an absent seller. Comment section from the prior PCAR listing doesn’t fill in many blanks. Hopefully we hear from the seller before the buzzer. Anyone else here ever import wheels from CAN?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@tabby1389 Can you walk us through the US import process, as well as the costs involved? Thx much. GLWTA
Almost forgot... some undercarriage pics would be very helpful. For now, any rust or corrosion anywhere? Thx!
@seller Looks like a real nice M5 driver. Do you have service records? Have the vanos, rod bearings, timing chains/guides been done? (all very impt considering the mileage). Also, have the bushings, tie-rods etc been addressed? Does the car have any leaks or seeps anywhere? Tires likely need updating if from 2019, yes? Does the AC work well? Other than the mentioned screen pixelation, does anything else need addressing or not working? Window screen, incl power rear screen working fine? Sunroof? Slew of questions I know, but each is impt, and I wouldn't ask if I wasn't interested! Thanks & glwta!
