Up for auction is this 2001 Porsche 986 Boxster finished in Biarritz White over a Metropol Blue interior with partial leather seats.  Factory optioned with the Sport Package and Porsche Stability Management (PSM), this 986 also features upgraded Boxster S front brakes and a desirable 5-speed manual transmission.  Having undergone a major recent service including an IMS bearing upgrade as well as the replacements of the RMS, water pump, and ignition components, this Boxster is now being offered in excellent running order by its seller in New Jersey while showing approximately 118k miles on the odometer. 

The Biarritz White finish is said to be in very good condition except for a scratch on the lower front bumper and a small ding near the rear passenger wheel arch (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a damage-free CARFAX).  Factory features include a Metropol Blue retractable soft top that remains in excellent condition, and 17” Boxster Design that come dressed in healthy tires.  The colored center crests are shown to be missing from the wheels.

The White finish is complimented by a Metropol Blue interior with partial leather seats and a 3-spoke steering wheel.  The cabin is said to in great shape with some minor wear reported on the driver's side armrest and seat bolster. The Sport Package was optioned from the factory which includes an alarm system, wind deflector, and AM/FM radio with CD player.  An aftermarket Alpine radio has been installed and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional except for the passenger side power-operated window.

This 986 is equipped with a mid-mounted 2.7 L flat-six engine.  A desirable 5-speed manual transmission sends 217 HP to the rear wheels while the upgraded Boxster S front brakes provide improved stopping power.  A major engine-out service is said to have been carried out in 2019 which included a dual-row IMS bearing upgrade and replacements of the rear main seal (RMS), water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, and ignition coils. Service records are included from the current owenrship and this Boxster is said to drive very well.

This sale will include a set of 2 keys, the original books and tools, the factory wind deflector, some service records, and a clean title.  With some critical maintenance items addressed, this Boxster makes the perfect all-around driver for any enthusiast, do not miss out.
