Pairing a 6-speed manual transmission with its twin-turbocharged Mezger engine derived from the legendary GT1 race car, this 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Graphite full leather. Originally sold in New York at a sticker price of over $116k, this launch-year 996 Turbo has spent time as part of multiple Porsche collections in California before returning to New York approximately 1 year ago. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, it is now being offered for auction while showing just under 42k miles on the odometer.
This 996 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with Turbo-specific bumpers, wide fenders with side air intakes, flared rocker panels, red brake calipers, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. This example was also factory-specified without front bumperettes and rides on factory 18” Turbo wheels with model logo center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires. One small dent is noted on the hood, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Graphite Grey full leather upholstery with a matching Alcantara headliner and power-operated seats with driver position memory and optional adjustable lumbar support. An upgraded Porsche Classic (PCCM) head unit has been installed and the seller reports some failed pixels on the LCD odometer screen.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine produces as much as 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque, driving all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Accompanying service records include an invoice for a major 30k-mile service in 2012 as well as a service from Porsche Monterey in November of 2021 with new air filters, ride height adjustment, wheel alignment, replacement of the front spoiler, and reinstallation of its factory exhaust system. A broken stabilizer bar link was also replaced in February of 2022 in addition to another wheel alignment and parking brake adjustment. The seller adds that an oil and filter change will be carried out in preparation for the sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

Very nice car with low miles . Thinking the cluster held the car back. Not sure if anyone fixes these or not. New Cluster is ($3425.22 part only) plus the install and reset. That's a large bill right after buying a car if it would bother the new owner.

Just so in love with every line on this beautiful speed machine. IMO, the side air intakes on the 996 Turbo were the very best design of any of the Turbo PCars. Add to that a stance that says, "let's go play" and you can't go wrong! GLWTA!

@luis.seneriz No reason why it shouldn't! It performs impeccably.
@Emerald-45 hello, the only fault I can find is the dot pictured in the cluster. This car drives, feels and SMELLS new! I left it @pcar HQ all week if anyone wants to come see it, I strongly encourage pre bidding inspections because the car looks better in person than the photos. I will add pics of what accompanies the car, apologies that should have been in the listing.
Is this car ok to drive cross country ?? Thanks

Does everything work on your Turbo as it should?
Is the books, spare, jack, compressor, etc included?
How many keys?
What is that red wire for/from showing in the engine compartment photo?
Thank you
@zacharyshea hello. that was not done under my ownership, I do have some records that I will review and report back if they are there. I can tell you that the original ones are not in my possession. Thank you for the interest, it is a very nice example.

Can you tell us when was the Rennkit eRams installed? Do you have the installation receipt? Which height (2,3,4 inch) is it when the rear wing is raised? Also, do you still have the original hydralic rams that came with the car? Thank you, and look forward to your reply. Very nice, and clean early 996TT btw!!
