The 996 marked a significant milestone in Porsche's shift from analog to digital technology, bringing forth advancements such as modernized interior design, cutting-edge electronics, and enhanced comfort and convenience choices. This 2001 example comes finished in Arctic Silver metallic over Graphite Grey leather upholstery and features supple leather seats, the Comfort Package, the Advanced Technic Package, and 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels with colored Porsche-crested wheel caps. Said to benefit from an IMS bearing and rear main seal replacement, this Carrera was previously sold on PCARMARKET and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing approximately 90k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels with Porsche-crested center caps and Kumho Ecsta P531 tires. Equipment includes Litronic headlights and a leadlight cleaning system as part of the Advanced Technic Package, along with a factory speed-activated rear spoiler. Several exterior imperfections are noted along with slight dings on the driver’s side fender and hood. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Graphite Grey upholstery including supple leather seats and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel. Additional options include a sunroof, the Comfort Package which adds electrical adjustments & memory functions for the seats, and the Advanced Technic Package which adds the HiFi Sound System, an onboard computer, and a 6-disc CD changer. Some signs of wear, creases, and scratches are noted.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine sends up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston ventilated disc brakes and the car is rated at a 0-60 MPH time of approximately 6 seconds with a top speed of over 170 MPH. The seller states there are no outstanding maintenance items and the IMS bearing and rear main seal were previously replaced, although no supporting documentation has been provided. The CARFAX report shows a total of 20 service history entries dating back to the initial delivery.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I've owned the vehicle for several years the cars had the IMS done and the rear main seal done. I do not have very many records on the car, but it runs and drives well. The car has new tires, and the new brakes shift perfectly with no issues. No accidents.”

Hi, just wanted to let everyone know this car is being relisted. The previous winner of the auction did not follow through for reasons unknown and did not respond to me to close deal so we are re listing the car. The vehicle does run and drive great, it’s a great daily driver, if anybody has any questions, please let me know. Thank you again for viewing.
