This 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe is finished in Seal Grey Metallic over Graphite Grey full leather and pairs a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with its twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine. Factory options include the Heated Front Seats Package and Digital Sound Package, along with Exclusive aluminum instrument dials, a body-colored rear center console, and Porsche-crested headrests. Showing ownership history in Texas and New Mexico, this meticulously maintained Turbo was acquired by the seller in 2014. It is now being offered for auction out of Texas with under 24k miles showing on the odometer.
The 996 Turbo is distinguished from the standard Carrera by its wider bodywork, integrated side air intakes, model-specific bumpers, and a speed-activated rear wing. Finished in Seal Grey Metallic, this example was factory-ordered with a front bumperette delete. It rides on 18” Sport Techno wheels mounted with 2021-dated Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires driven less than 2,500 miles. The seller notes that slight cosmetic blemishes on the front bumper were professionally addressed by A&R Collision in Taos, New Mexico, in July 2020. Minor nicks are indicated on the front windshield, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, you will find Graphite Grey full leather upholstery with black deviating carpets. Exclusive options include aluminum-look instrument dials, a body-colored rear center console, and Porsche-crested headrests. Additional selections include the Heated Front Seats Package, left seat lumbar support, self-dimming mirrors with a rain sensor, the Digital Sound Package, an AM/FM radio with CD player, and a remote 6-disc CD changer. All gauges and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Derived from the GT1 Le Mans race car, the 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine is factory-rated at 415 HP and 415 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The most recent entry on CARFAX indicates that a maintenance inspection, recommended service, oil and filter change, and serpentine belt replacement were performed in May 2025 at Porsche Austin in Texas.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have tried to take the best care of my Porsche 911 Turbo possible. All maintenance is up to date. The car is completely stock.”

@TexSquirrel Thanks, wasn't sure if over revs were even a factor with (auto) Tip tranny.

@rickster It is possible with a PIWIS or Durametric, but not necessary. The Tiptronic will not allow overrevs.

the script says 19 in sport techno rims. they are 18 inch, not 19 inch.
@Steele1971 the description is correct. this car has a 5 speed tiptronic torque converter automatic transmission. the car is all wheel drive.
Bid in the amount of $22,500
The listing states “ All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission”. Thy doesn’t match the drive / transmission spec for a 996 Turbo. Can you please explain.
Thanks,
JS
@knapper My first P car was a near-mint seal gray '03 C2 tip that was diagnosed with bore score after only 65k miles in '19, sold as a fully disclosed running-roller (ticking time bomb). As a backup I had purchased an '03 tt tip in excellent condition in '17 for 38k$, which I have fallen in luv with, GLWS!
I meant can you upload clear pictures of the service receipt for the most recent work from the porsche dealership- IE photo 76- can you share pictures that we can actually view?
@knapper Thanks for your response. Obviously you take care of your Porsche's.
@Scrooge1 I get you man. No cup holders no glove box. Analog, not all consuming digital. Just drives like a Porsche should. I do not eat or drink in the car anyway. Do not need a glove box either. Porsches should be made to be driven, not all this stuff you do not need in a car.
@rickster vehicle not tracked. If it had over revs it was not from this owner. I take care of my Porsches.
@aidan786 I am in New Mexico, car I Texas. Car drives like it is new.
@aidan786 again, if there was a problem with the spoiler I would have had it fixed. No leaks, works fine. Extends at approximately 74 mph.
@aidan786 I have a call in to Porsche of Austin to answer your questions. I have minor services done on my Porsches every year. This is an oil change and a thorough inspection. The major inspections have done every 5 years. They have to remove the rear bumper to change the spark plugs, so it is expensive. They change the plugs, the serpentine belt, air filter, cabin filter, oil and filter. Wiper blades, brake fluid, etc. Nothing was found wrong or I would have had it fixed.
Also, can you upload a copy of the inspection report and work performed at Porsche Austin please? Would be helpful to see what the inspection report showed/ details from the service advisor on the work performed. Thank you! Very interested in the car
Also, rear spoiler looks to be original- any leaking from the hydraulics? Does it extend/ retract properly?
driving video?
Is it possible to check over-revs on a Tip. tranny?
Thanks, RH
I could easily live without a glovebox (added to the '02 and newer) to save thousands on an iconic model!

Bid in the amount of $15,000
Thank you for visiting my auction site. I have owned this car for 11 years and have kept up with minor and major services at Porsche Austin and Porsche Albuquerque. It is a lot of fun to drive.
