This 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe is presented in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black full leather interior and pairs a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with its twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six. The car features optional supple leather seat upholstery, aluminum instrument dials, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, Porsche-crested headrests, the Digital Sound Package, and aftermarket 19” HRE Performance wheels. A lifelong California car registered to only two previous owners, this 996 is now being offered for auction with approximately 51k miles showing on the odometer.
The 911 Turbo differs from a contemporary 996 Carrera with wider fenders and rockers, side air intakes, unique bumpers, and a speed-activated rear wing. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on aftermarket black-finished 19” HRE Performance wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlamps, integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, a rear window wiper, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes a scratch on the rear bumper and some cosmetic imperfections around the exterior as depicted in the photo gallery. The CARFAX report shows an accident with minor-to-moderate damage at the front end and right-front corner in 2020.
The cabin is appointed with Black full leather upholstery including optional supple leather seats with Porsche-crested headrests. Accessories include an Alcantara headliner, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, optional aluminum instrument dials, automatic climate control, cruise control, driver seat memory, an AM/FM radio with a CD player, the Digital Sound Package, and a central locking system.
Factory-rated at 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The Turbo comes standard with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled 330mm discs at each corner. The CARFAX report shows 26 maintenance history records with the most recent being a brake service in 2021 at 39k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “996 Turbos represent a fantastic way to get into a significantly powerful modern Porsche that's easy to live with and a blast to drive. This one is no exception and will be a perfect car to pile on miles for any trip or cars and coffee!”

@ppalmer sold as she sits with the very nice aftermarket wheels. Yes the minor fissures on the lens appear on all 996 over time. Most ignore since it will happen over and over.

Super fun way into a good miles, nice overall condition 996TT. A car mean to be enjoyed and driven rather then preserved as a investment in the garage. Drive the cars!!!
@mikea100 wing works, aftermarket electric.
@seller - record shows Wing/spoiler replaced/repaired on 11/04/2011.
What was replaced/fixed - hinges/entire system?
Is it stock hydraulic or replaced w electric kit?
And most importantly - does it work?

Did you really bring your Porsche to Sears Automotive, and Pep Boys for maintenance service? This along with unanswered questions makes it hard to bid on this one. Sorry

Looks like a nice TT. Any pictures of the exterior and interior car in natural, outside light? The current photos are fairly dark and not very detailed. Any idea who did the inserts for the seats (they are not stock)? Any other mods to the car? Any maintenance documentation/details available, besides the ambiguous CF report?

@jetpaul Could teach a golden retriever to handle a pad and rotor swap :)
Keep in mind a damage report as defined by CF is small scratches, dings etc. Not an accident or material event.
2 “OTHER” damage report during the Original Owners Tenure that are not disclosed in the Description.
And then to have “Pep Boys” perform the last Brake Service?? I hope it doesn’t have Autozone Pads and Rotors too??!!!🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻
But seriously these are such GREAT cars, and have been under appreciated for a long time. GLWTA.

Front seat inserts look great, is that suede? I have not seen that before on a 996.
