Finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a Metropol Blue leather interior, this 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It features optional carbon fiber, aluminum, and stainless-steel trim pieces, a three-spoke carbon fiber steering wheel, heated supple leather seats, Porsche-crested headrests, a sunroof, a rear window wiper, a custom sound system, and an upgraded EVOMS air intake. Originally sold in California with subsequent ownership in Arizona, Oregon, and Utah, this Turbo Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Tennessee with approximately 30k miles showing on the odometer.
This 996 is finished in Polar Silver Metallic and features Turbo-specific bodywork with unique bumpers, wide fenders, side air intakes, and a speed-activated rear wing. Other equipment includes xenon headlamps, power mirrors, an electric sunroof, polished dual exhaust outlets, red brake calipers, and 18” 911 Turbo wheels in silver. The car rides on General G Max RS tires from 2021, and the seller notes the tread is low on all four tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Metropol Blue leather interior features an Alcantara headliner, optional heated supple leather with Porsche-crested headrests, and carbon fiber trim throughout. Accessories include a three-spoke steering wheel in leather with carbon fiber trim, a carbon fiber gear knob and handbrake lever with aluminum inlays, stainless-steel door entry guards with Turbo logos, silver seatbelts, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an aftermarket stereo paired with a trunk-mounted amplifier.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers up to 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled 330mm discs at each corner. The seller states that an extensive collection of service records will be provided to the next owner.
This sale will include an owner’s manual, service records, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.

@Paddle 911. No mystery there Pcarmarket negotiated the deal. I was in this position twice, April 2022 here I got my triple black turbo same way. As long as the seller and buyer are ok I see
No
Fault in this.
Well, that ending was interesting. The clock ran out with Threejump's $64,369 bid. Fifteen minutes later after the clock ran out, a bid from Threejump for $68,000 appears. He outbid himself/herself in overtime? I was out of the bidding already so I am not objecting, but I am still curious how that worked out.

@L_r_gonzalez I believe you're referring to the amplifier in the front trunk.
What are the items in photos 104 and 107?
Not super familiar with whatever those items are

Do you have the original air box?
GT4Driver,
Thank you for your input.Thank you for the positive note.I have traded Porsche cars for just shy of 50 years. My MO in my business is to walk alongside the possible buyer and educate as best I can, present the car the best I can and have a good result for both parties.
This is a really nice example that has been garaged kept, great services and not flogged around a track.
If you like what you see,bid with confidence. My store is open with the ability to walk in and examine the car, which I encourage.ANY person that is the fortunate buyer on this car will not be disappointed.
Gotcha, yeh in pic 121 on the right it looks like the turbo oil reservoir has the fluid around it I'm speaking to. Wasn't sure if the turbo was leaking from above, or reservoir hasn't been drained using new washers, or some issue with check valve/scavenge pump causing the fluids.
Ending on a positive note, this is a heck of a car and people should bid with confidence :)
I went to pic 121,now I see in pic 126,I have no idea what that component is but it looks external and not very intimidating. If any of you technicians out there can review and enlighten us it would be helpful to all.
To Abuong01-I am biting my tongue
I am sorry guys but I cannot discern any seepage
As @Paradigm_Shift mentioned, looks like there may be seepage in photo #126. are there any known fluid leaks, if so what (possible oil towards the center/left of the pic i mentioned)? Also I'll asked the famed question of if there is a DME report available? Outside of that, car looks super clean!
Why not put fresh proper tires on it and address issues before listing.

The car looks beautiful! Are there any cracks in the carbon fiber?
Paradigm_Shift-I copied and pasted this reply from the above text on this posting-"The seller states that an extensive collection of service records will be provided to the next owner".
I know the car appears as if it has been dry-iced-IT HAS NOT!!! This is how clean the car is and has always been
Wing works as designed
Emerald-45-the rear lights are deep in color and void of flaws.
Car is bone stock so no reason why it would not smog.
PAINT READINGS and Option code sticker picture just sent to PCar.
To reiterate, this car has extensive records
Interested in this turbo but have a few questions. Are there any service records available? Paint meter readings? Can you provide a photo of the build sticker under the front hood? Underside looks to have been dry iced but there is seepage visible. also would like to know if the rear wing is functional
Does everything work as it should on the turbo, especially the rear wing going up and down manually and at highway speeds?
I did not notice a recent smog test, do you have one?
Some pictures of the rear lights seem to have scratches or is it just light reflection?
Bid in the amount of $1,000
