This 2001 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Black Metallic and features a 6-speed manual transmission connected to its 3.4-liter engine. Recently serviced and with under 40k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina.
This Carrera comes finished in Black Metallic with a matching black convertible top and factory 17” 996 Twist wheels with optional colored center crests. The car is said to have always been garage kept and the seller notes a new convertible top and struts were recently installed. The Michelin tires show production date codes from 2016. The black partial leather interior includes optional heated leather seats with the Comfort Package which adds electrical seat adjustment as well as seat position memory and adjustable lumbar support for the driver’s side. The sound system has been upgraded with Alpine S-S40 speakers, a Soundstream 8” ultra-compact subwoofer, and an Alpine CDE-175BT Bluetooth head unit.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The battery has been recently replaced and the car received an oil service and inspection in June 2022. @Dasher2008 Good Morning, my father purchased the car from a Porsche collector here in Charlotte, NC.
All of the original speakers and head unit are in the boxes that the new items came in.
How many owners has this car had? From the Carfax, it looks as if you are the 6th owner. Do you have any prior service history other than the Carfax? Also, does the factory sound system
come with the car. Very pretty car.
