We are pleased to present this 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello finished in Giallo Modena over a black leather interior with yellow deviated stitching. Introduced in 1996, the 550 Maranello marked Ferrari's first V12 grand touring car since the 365 GTB/4 Daytona over 20 years prior. Remaining in its home state of California, this final-year example comes equipped with a coveted 6-speed gated manual transmission and is now being offered for auction showing approximately 31k miles on the odometer.
This 550 Maranello was ordered in Giallo Modena (4305) and features Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork over a tubular space frame chassis. Details include Scuderia Ferrari fender shields and Pininfarina badging, red brake calipers, front and rear lip spoilers, a hood scoop, integrated fog lights, front fender vents, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear fascia. The Speedline-manufactured 18” modular wheels wear yellow Ferrari center caps and new Continental ExtremeContact tires installed in March of 2022. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Nero leather with yellow contrast stitching and Daytona-style bucket seats. Equipment includes a gated manual shifter, drilled aluminum pedals, chrome-ringed Jaeger instrumentation, automatic climate control, a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel, Ferrari-branded door sill plates, and full power accessories. Some shrinking of the leather upholstery is noted around the instrument panel and center console. The original radio has also been replaced with a Porsche Traffic Pro head unit.
The naturally aspirated F133A 5.5L V12 produces up to 478 HP and 419 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 4.5 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Factory performance features include variable assisted power steering, ventilated Brembo disc brakes at all four corners, dual-mode anti-slip regulation, and a four-way anti-lock braking system. A recent service was completed in March of 2022 which included an oil and filter change, brake system flush, new tires, and a maintenance inspection. Some invoices are provided for reference in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, service records, and a factory toolkit.

Hello @seller.
I am confused on the Ferrari invoice/quotes? Does it need a clutch and belts at this time?
I assume that they have not been done?
Thanks!

@Jlegelis No wonder the bill seemed light.
@blackdog1 noting those receipts were quotes for parts only, not labor. Would be helpful to have receipts for actual installation.
This is a very nice example. The modular wheels look terrific. I was taken by how inexpensive, in Ferrari dealer terms, the clutch and timing belt work were. GLWA

@AMCC NICE 550! Has this car ever been in any accidents or had any type of paint work? Can you paint meter and post pictures. Does it have any sticky button issues? Thank you
Bid in the amount of $50,550
These are the 'right' wheels for the 550 - the original 5 spokes look dinkey and the ones from the 575 are not dished correctly - have a look at the rear dish v the front dish in the photos - then do the same w/the 575 - you'll see the optics make a huge difference. -- Subjective? ...Maybe, but there really is no substitute for girth.
@Carscarscars these are the only set of wheel we received. We did put 4 new tires on it when we received it. Thanks
This car was on another auction site last week and did not sell at $161k.

@Carscarscars those are the optional Modular wheels. Not sure if they were originally optioned to the car or not but they are factory wheels.
