The Ferrari 360 was introduced in 1999 featuring a lightweight aluminum construction with Pininfarina-designed bodywork, adaptive suspension, and a mid-mounted 3.6-liter V8 showcased beneath a transparent engine cover. This 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider is finished in Rosso Corsa over tan leather upholstery and equipped with a 6-speed F1 automated manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, Scuderia fender shields, a Challenge-style rear grille, Daytona-style seats, red brake calipers, aftermarket 20” chrome wheels, and a Nouvalari exhaust system. The car has been owned by an enthusiast for nearly 12 years and benefits from comprehensive maintenance including timing belt replacement, fluid flushes, and a convertible top service. Showing just over 19k miles on the odometer, this Ferrari 360 Spider is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
Finished in traditional Rosso Corsa paint with a black power-operated convertible top, the Pininfarina-designed bodywork is made from aluminum and features side air intakes, xenon headlights, Scuderia fender shields, a Challenge-style rear grille, a transparent engine cover, and quad exhaust tips. The car rides on aftermarket 20” chrome wheels complemented by red brake calipers. The seller notes that new tires have been installed, and the convertible top was recently serviced at a cost of approximately $5k. The exterior is described to be in very good condition apart from slight rock chips on the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with tan leather upholstery complemented by matching carpets, deviated red stitching, and a contrasting black leather dashboard. Accessories include power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, a black leather three-spoke steering wheel with red stitching, column-mounted paddle shifters, drilled aluminum pedals and passenger footrest, automatic climate control, power windows and mirrors, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. Minor signs of wear are noted on the driver’s seat bolster.
The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 engine features dry-sump lubrication, a flat-plane crankshaft, dual overhead camshafts, and five valves per cylinder. It delivers a factory-rated output of 395 HP and 275 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed F1 automated manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This example is equipped with an aftermarket Nouvalari exhaust system and features power rack-and-pinion steering, cross-drilled disc brakes, and an independent suspension with adaptive dampers. The seller notes all service has been kept up to date including routine fluid changes and timing belt replacements.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “2001 Ferrari 360 F1 Spider. This is the classic Modern open Ferrari. This was the 1st model that was produced under Luca Di Montezemolo rein at Ferrari during a fantastic time of the Formula One Championship-winning years with Michael Schumacher. It was also the first fully Aluminum chassis and body example for road use. The 360 was the Ferrari that really put the company into the 21st Century in terms of design and ergonomics. This example has been owned by an enthusiast for nearly 12 years and has been comprehensively serviced. Completely up to date on belt service and fluid flushes. A recent top service has also been completed, and the canvas is in perfect shape with no tears or wear spots. It runs and drives like a 360 should with an enhanced wheel and tire combination. Also equipped with a fantastic-sounding exhaust by Nouvalari. Part of a small collection, this 360 has been used sparingly and has never seen a drop of rain during current ownership. This is an original paint example and does have the complimentary stone chips that come with all gently used Rosso Corso Ferraris. The reason for this sale is it is time to step up to a 12-cylinder Ferrari. We are on the lookout for a well-maintained, Red Tan Testarossa.”
