Representing BMW's venerable E46 generation this 2001 M3 Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission along with performance upgrades including Bilstein coilovers, 19” SSR GT3 wheels, and an AC Schnitzer short shift kit. The car is finished in Imola Red II over black Nappa leather and factory equipped with a limited-slip differential, Harman/Kardon sound system, power sport seats, and xenon headlamps. Recently serviced and with approximately 17k miles showing on the odometer, this M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
The M3 is distinguished from other E46 models by its unique front and rear bumpers, side skirts, fender vents, painted body moldings, aerodynamic wing mirrors, and quad-tipped exhaust outlets. This Coupe is finished in Imola Red II with a matching trunk lid spoiler, black Shadowline exterior trim, and aftermarket 19” SSR GT3 wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The rear bumper is said to have been repaired following the minor damage reported on CARFAX in 2004 and noted imperfections include scrapes on the wheels, paint chips on the hood, and a scratch on the rear bumper.
The black interior includes power-adjustable Nappa leather sport seats and a matching headliner along with a three-spoke M steering wheel with tri-color stitching. Other details include M3 logo door sills, M-specific instrument dials, M-crested headrests, an AC Schnitzer short shifter, UUC pedal covers, a UUC handbrake lever, and gloss black trim pieces. The driver is provided with automatic climate control, a power sunroof, a multifunction steering wheel, and a BMW Business CD stereo connected to a Harman/Kardon sound system. The seller notes repairs were made to the A/C system in 2020.
Up to 333 HP and 262 lb.-ft of torque comes from a naturally aspirated 3.2-liter S54 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein PSS9 adjustable coilovers, Ground Control camber plates, and a Racing Dynamics front strut tower brace. The engine rod bearing recall was completed in 2005 and subsequent items that were addressed throughout are said to have included a new fuel pressure regulator, exhaust cam sensor, fuel level sending unit, and mass airflow sensor. More recent service completed under the current ownership since 2020 includes a new serpentine belt, an oil change, and a coolant flush.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Spazaz88 Hi! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that, but there are several of what the back looks like now, I hope they help you!
@nathank hello, there is nothing disrespectful about running our platform according to our policy. An outright purchase negates the whole process, nothing was intended to make you feel disrespected and if you feel that we we apologize. With that being said, any further comments regarding a purchase that circumvents the auction process must be removed going forward. Thank you for understanding.
@nathank I'm pretty sure it could be yours for $75,000. Hit the Bid button and see.
LOL so good. Claims understanding of an auction. Immediately negates said knowledge. Glad to see in one bid it exceeded BaT final bid. Hopefully she sells. Were there any pictures taken of the small accident to the rear?
