We are pleased to present this low mileage 2000 Porsche 986 Boxster S finished in Ocean Blue Metallic over a Savannah Beige partial leather interior. Praised for its superb handling characteristics, this 986 Boxster S features 18” Sport Design wheels, the Sport Package, and a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Highlighting a clean 2-owner history and a collection of records dating back nearly to the original purchase, this beautifully appointed 986 is now being offered with just under 20k miles showing on the odometer by its selling dealer out of Miami, FL.
The Ocean Blue Metallic finish is said to be all-original and in excellent condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. The styling is complemented by a Metropol Blue convertible top, Boxster S-specific red brake calipers, and modular 2-piece 18” Sport Design wheels that come dressed in Continental Extreme Contact tires dated from 2015.
Inside, the Savannah Beige partial leather interior is said to be in impeccable condition while retaining fully functional gauges and accessories. The original AM/FM CDR-220 radio remains in place and the optional Boxster S Sport Package includes Digital Sound Processing and cruise control. The only noted modification is an aftermarket stainless steel pedal set.
The mid-mounted 3.2 L naturally aspirated flat-six engine develops 250 HP and 225 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent through a 6-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels. This Boxster S is said to be in excellent mechanical order with a collection of service records showing routine maintenance items. The seller also confirms that a fresh oil change will be carried out upon sale. There is no mention of an IMS bearing upgrade in the service records.
Included in the sale are a set of two master keys, one valet key, a clean title, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, service records, and the original bill of sale. This is a rare opportunity to get behind the wheel of an exceptionally clean first-generation Boxster S, do not miss out.

@porschepete - message me via the "contact seller" tab. I'll call you.
In regards to the PPI that was done today, it was performed by the buyer. I do not have access to it.
Good evening
Is there a way to have a phone conversation tomorrow for the location as I live in the North Palm Beach area. I assume that the better from Boston contracted for the PPI or is it available for discussion
Bid in the amount of $14,000
Bid in the amount of $12,500
@porschepete - I have not. Hoewever, the car will be delivered with a fresh oil service, and we will check.
Wonderful looking car – have a one almost identical with 41,000 miles on but would consider another one. During the last oil change was the oil filter cut open and inspected for any metal particles?

@Bill930P @AtPorsche Thanks very much again. Look forward to the results.
@Cestradajr - As discussed over the phone, the PPI will be completed today or tomorrow.
Few additional questions:
1) Do you have startup and driving videos?
2) Is the car available for a PPI and do you have a recommended specialist? I am located in Boston.
Thank you.
@Bill930P @AtPorsche Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $8,550
@Cestradajr - I was able to run a DME report this morning. Results are as follows:
Total operating hours = 840.9
Number of ignitions, range 1 = 678 @ 403.7hrs
Number of ignitions, range 2 = 0
@PheasantRun - A/c blows cold and work as it should.
Please tell us about the A/C in detail if you are able. Thank you!

@Bill930P @AtPorsche Thanks so much! Great car.
@Cestradajr -
Wheels are original, and listed on the option sticker.
I paint metered the car, and all panels are consistent, and within spec. I'm confident it has the original paint. The Carfax is clean and posted at the end of the picture gallery.
3) I did not run an over-rev report. Unlike the later cars, they don't show much. They only separate the revs into 2 ranges. That being said, I'll try and get one done.
4) No overheating.
Beautiful car. Few questions:
1) Are those the original wheels?
2) Any paintwork/bodywork? Clean car fax (for what it’s worth)?
3) Do you have an over rev report?
4) Any overheating?
Beautiful car, great presentation!
@twallc4 - No oil leaks.
Any oil dripping from the engine?
Bid in the amount of $5,250

@urfealex - Yes, evrything is in great condition.
@Bill930P @AtPorsche I thought the price was a bit low for the Solution. No problem and thanks for the response. I assume all electricals, accessory motors, etc, are in good order. I will bid accordingly.
@urfealex - It is for the LN IMS Retrofit. The Solution can be done, but cost about a $1k more. The part alone cost $1900 for the Solution.
Porsche: Nice early Boxster. I assume you will have the LN Engineering Solution IMS installed, Correct?
This is one of the nicest Boxster I've set my eyes upon. You'll be hard pressed to find another one like this.
For anyone that may be worried about the IMS, I can have it done, along with the RMS, for an additional $1950.
Great car! EVERYONE should have one of these. Just bought mine last month!
Beautiful car. I bet this one brings top dollar for the early Boxsters.
